Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I must start hanging around chippers at 4am :D

Be careful, it only applies if you are in the same state as the others, you might end up traumatized otherwise.

One of the facebook suspects is based in Manchester. Might be an outside bet to go with that? You can claim you were bewitched by her foreign accent?

There are a few on that list that are actually attractive so for God's sake don't go with them.....

I would be careful with this - the wife was probably already interviewing him hard about this and most likely by now she knows everything he knows about her. If he suddenly recalls an accent, it will be very suspicious.

I would just find a random woman in the wedding pictures, one that is not tagged, so she will remain nameless. Wouldn't show the wife Emer's name either, so she won't go ahead contacting her. Literally just save the picture without any names attached to it and point at a person. Say you don't have any other info. Pray the wife won't be asking you for more (and believe me that she will).

This would be a whole lot easier if that one on facebook had posted on FB from the hen and tagged galore...

Instead we have to scroll through a list of 'it definetly isnt her', 'oh god i hope it wasnt her' and 'it could definetly be her's

Right op has vanished and I know this is AH but...

This is a one-way street to divorce. Your wife has got herself into a spin and the demands won't stop at a photo, she will become obsessed -you'll have to contact chipper girl and tell her you're not interested, wife will want to meet her and blah blah blah.

I can't say I'm surprised either. It's bad enough that you cheated on her but the three years of denials, telling her she's crazy, paranoid whatever is actually worse. I'm sure she knew something was up by your reactions the following day. You should have manned up and come clean instead of letting her doubt herself for so long.

Tracking down a photo will not fix anything. Posting here about how amazing and hot your wife is will not make it up to her either.

Your marriage is severely damaged as youve betrayed her and broken the trust but with counselling and hard work you might fix it.

Nope, the only way to avoid divorce now is to revert to full on denial mode and deny he ever made any of his recent admissions.
    I think it's called gaslighting.

Although the OP doesn't sound like the kind of person who could pull it off, it's the only way that won't end in a P45.

He should act utterly amazed the next time she mentions it, and deny that they ever had such a conversation, or that he has ever heard of, not to mention been in, the chipper in question. Act all worried and concerned, repeatedly asking if she wants him to call the doctor, etc. You only have to keep this act up for a day or two before she is convinced she imagined the whole thing - I know, as it worked for me with my wife in an incident involving her discovering a Porsche I'd bought in the garage. I moved it when she went out, and eventually convinced her she hadn't seen it at all.

    If so still entertaining thread.
If not OP and partner in a very dark and sad place.

Hope they are both ok whichever is true.

Either way if you're picking up married women in the chipper at 4am you'd need to be fairly battered.

    I'll see myself out.
