Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just saw something pop up on my Facebook feed, someone had parked on tram tracks and blocked the tram in Germany. It does not give more details other than that.
The tram company called a towing company and also hired local taxis to ferry people around whilst the tracks where blocked.
The thick who had blocked the tracks was then hit with a fine, impound fees and a €1000 bill for the taxis.
Of course he ran straight to court, arguing he should not be liable for the cost of the taxis.
The court in Frankfurt disagreed with him and I suppose he is now stuck with a hefty legal bill as well.

Also, and this is brilliant, if passengers lost out due to the fcuktard blocking the tram, they can sue him for their losses in a civil case:

Oh, and if police or fire brigade is required, for example directing traffic and recovering damaged vehicles, the person blocking the tram can also be made liable for them.
This is the stuff I love about Germany. We believe stupidity should have consequences. It is a whole different mindset. If I bang my knee on a table leg, it's because I am clumsy and should take better care when sitting down. After all tables have legs. Every imbecile in the world knows that.
