    Hi all,

Looking for some help. We've been having a nightmare with a particular kitchen supplier in Dublin, with issues at every stage from design, fitting, factory and wrapped in some of the worst customer communication i've ever experienced.

The budget for the kitchen was 19k, which takes us out of the realm of the Small Claims Court. We've paid in full through a high-profile financing company - which complicates things. Could anyone give advice on our options for recourse?

    Many thanks,

    Colum

Your only option really is to speak to a solicitor I would think. What stage are you at with them.. the finance issue probably really muddies the waters for you.

You could try find out the name/s of the owners or managing directors and send them a registered letter detailing your issues and asking for a meeting to resolve before you instruct a solicitor to deal with the matter?

That would be cheaper and probably effective if they are a large and reasonably well known company and don't want their name in the paper for shoddy work/service..

or you could always call Joe ;)

Thanks Homer - appreciate the advice.

We had the kitchen originally fitted in April with lots of problems and missing bits. Have been waiting since then for remediation with no luck so far. Obviously unusable and we haven't had a working kitchen since February (when we bloody paid most of the moola to order). Incredible to see a not-cheap kitchen brand with supposedly well regarded European brand with really shoddy processes and customer service.

We had been dealing with one of the owners - to no avail.

This is definitely one our options. Hopefully not necessary. The other option is requesting a full refund - cutting our losses and moving on without these guys.
