Bit of a predicament, should I go with Ryan (Car away) or Fab (Hud away) this weekend?

Huddersfield are pretty toothless in attack fab for me

Gullit makes a good point about why Morata hasn't been more prolific

    https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/46092678
Yes, the statistics show they have made plenty of crosses this season but when you watch them you can see that their first intention is always to attack through the middle.

Their wide attackers - Eden Hazard, Willian or Pedro - like to dribble inside and hold on to the ball, and Morata does not know where to go. There is no space left for him.

That and he has to stop missing sitters :pac:

Salah gets away with it because the chances keep coming. They don't or at least haven't for Morata.

You can't blame the players for not wasting a pass on someone they don't have the confidence in either when it comes to converting. I can imagine they look up and think "oh it's Alvaro, might as well double back"

I've transferred Morata in this week anyway. Had him last year for a while and he stunk the place out (he never came close to Ballotelli levels of disappointment mind you) but we'll see if the Chelsea players get a bit more confident in crossing the ball to him. He's got 3 weeks to prove himself.

Note: Fulham at home on the 3rd week

What's the consensus on Barkley. Will he start?

Against his old Club - even if he doesn't and comes on he'll be shooting on sight I think.

I know it's a bit away but Brighton's Ryan will likely be playing in the Asian Cup in January. Just a heads up.

Yes & Button will be a great 4mil GK option. Set & forget and invest further upfield option too

Not sure if this is a nice choice to have but anyway :)

Which 2 would people pick out of Ings, Richarlison and Martial?

A list of my transfers in this season and the points they scored in the week I bought them:

    Pedro. 3
    Walcott 1
    Richarlison 3
    Maddison 2
TAA 0 (Bennett subbed in with.....zero)
    Alisson 2
Hamer (money making exercise, not fair to include him)
    Balbuena 1
    Arnautovic 2

Average 1.75 points per player

    That isn’t a sample, that’s ALL my transfers :(

Next weeks ‘victim’ looks like being Jimenez or Martial. You have been warned!

If I didn’t watch the games I’d have zero interest in playing FPL.

I'm the opposite. I'd have zero interest in a lot of the games if it wasn't for FPL

I'm assuming each had a decent score the gameweek before you transferred? The dangers of chasing points. I've made some of those exact same transfers.

    Arnie looked sh*te today too.

Thought Arnie got no decent service today. Anderson and Antonio very wasteful.

He played deep the second half and was just as guilty with providing no service. Put some poor crosses in from pot wide.

Seemed very static happy to float about outside the box.

Not really. Not a fan of chasing points. Most of the transfers were fixture related eg: TAA v Huddersfield, Alisson v Cardiff, Arnautovic v Huddersfield. Balbuena and Maddison for their ‘runs’.

None of the players had a bad fixture the week I bought them.

I’m into week 12 of a last man standing, gone are city, United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Everton, Leicester, Southampton, Watford, West Ham, Chelsea

    Choices this week are
    Brighton away to Cardiff
    Cardiff home to Brighton!
    Newcastle home to Bournemouth
    Bournemouth away to Newcastle!

Bookies say Cardiff or Bournemouth, I think Newcastle are coming round.

    Thoughts?

Should have gone with my gut, picked Bournemouth instead. Holebas got me out of jail, the others had Bournemouth, Leicester and Southampton.
    More difficult decisions next GW

Same. I only play FPL to maintain interest in the Premier league.

    Yeah.

I didn’t word that the best as I’d have zero interest in watching any soccer, except Liverpool, if it wasn’t for FPL.

What I really meant was - I watch as many games as possible because of FPL. I couldn’t play FPL without watching games as it’s all about the eye test for me.

Guys is there a different app that anyone uses? The FPL app won't load for me the last few days.

Like others I have been looking at ways of downgrading my defence to get a team including Salah, Hazard, Sterling and Aguero.

    My team presently:

    Fabianski
    Mendy, Gomez, Alonso
    Salah, Hazard, Fraser, Richarlison
    Aguero, Arnie, Ings
    Subs: Speroni, Gunnarsson, AWB, Kelly

With a -4 due to having two free transfers I could do:

    Mendy to Doherty
    Alonso to David Luiz
    Richarlison to Sterling

Would only leave 0.1 in the bank and leave me with:

    Fabianski
    Doherty, Gomez, David Luiz
    Salah, Hazard, Fraser, Sterling
    Aguero, Arnie, Ings

    Problems:
Ings injury and no cash to upgrade him.
    No Spurs cover.

I have yet to use a wildcard though.

Would be great if Shaqiri nailed down a starting place.

I’d happily sell Mane and Salah and just run with Shaqiri as my Liverpool attacker.

They look better with him in the team
I regret a LOT not getting him in last week
He always always always delivers for me
And then I send him on his way after a few weeks

I think I have missed my window for now though
