sorry if already posted but with joe gomez injured for pool for 6 weeks does that mean lovren has to start now??

or TAA starts every game now?

    Probably both

    Matip may rotate with Lovren
    TAA Nailed

I'd say that's TAA even more nailed now.

TAA Lovern VVD Robertson. Is my guess. I just did Robbo to TAA for a hit to free up funds for next week

TAA seems like an obvious choice now

but united arsenal city in their next 6.

newcastle wolves and burnmouth the other 3.... very hard to know what to do

I said before that if games are live on tv those types of situations generally get cleared up as there seem to be way more angles.

From what I saw of the goal there was no clear angle to show the shot wasn’t on target - and hence it’s not an og.

I didn't realise it just had to be on target. The deflection was MASSIVE but if all it requires is to be on target so be it.

If Lovren is a definite starter for the next 6 weeks then I might downgrade Robertson to a 4.5m as I’d expect them to leak more goals.

Can anyone tell me if there's any (semi)popular fpl game that is a 'pure' iteration of fantasy football? ie. no limits in terms of transfers or budget - you just pick your strongest XI for each set of matches

Yahoo used to do a game like that, there was a budget restriction but you could pick a different team each week

Any update on Glenn Murray, thinking of shipping him for a points hit but the options are crap

Murray faces a late fitness test: "We'll assess Glenn in the morning - today it wasn't as bad as we thought - we'll give him every opportunity to be fit. He went over on his shoulder but it's not dislocated - it's a bit sore but better than what it could have been." #BHA

Lovren has played 4 games, including City at home and Watford away.

In those games they have conceded 1 goal (a bit of a fluke to Cardiff).

Lovren is a different player when he doesn’t have to be ‘senior man’ in the back 4.

Gomez is a loss, but Lovren is a capable replacement.

On the other hand, if Matip has to play...:(

Lovren is very and unfairly underrated, IMO.

Nice set of "budget" defenders showing up for the big teams at the moment...
    Loveren 4.9
    Foyth 5.0
    Kolasinac 4.9
    Plenty at United
    Delph (5.3) at a stretch

I was in the same boat and went with Kolasinac. Although they haven’t been defensively solid they’ve some decent looking fixtures coming up and he has a lot more attacking potential than others in that bracket.

I think people could get stung with a lot of them.

Foyth - Vertonghen is back now, he'll be nailed on you'd think so likely between Foyth and Alderweireld until Sanchez comes back in a few weeks.

Kolasinac - Monreal back in training, although Monreal may slot in at LCB in place of Holding in a wing-back system, but Emery may revert to 4 at the back at home against the weaker teams (which is the bulk of their upcoming fixtures) meaning Monreal would play LB and Kolasinac would miss out as he can't defend.

United - no clean sheet since 1942 and a different back four almost every week.

I think Lovern would be very offended by that. If he sees it expect an angry tweet.

It’s so tricky to make this decision. I can afford either guy and will captain which I captain. Lacazette feels safer, Aubameyang with the higher ceiling.

    Wanb without hesitation
The other is a very very tough call
I will not be doing it BUT looking at it purely in terms of who is most likely to score least points it is prob alonso

Wan B and Fraser (especially if you have a Liverpool defender).
