Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

stat of the day: new Bournemouth signing Jefferson Lerma racked up 16 yellow cards in 25 league starts last season for Levante. He managed one attacking return(an assist). Might be one to steer clear of for anyone looking for a cheap £4.5m mid alternative

He won't last long in the epl if he keeps that up. I hope he's a fast Lerma.

    Is Lingard likely to play?

    Is Lingard likely to play?

Doubtful, they had to get a special dispensation to register him for the 2nd leg against Aberdeen last week, so he's well out of the plans (though he may start this evening to give Hart more time I guess).

To answer the question, Lingard is not expected to start.

Who is Arsenal ‘s first choice keeper these days? I see they both started pre season games but i presume the new lad will be first choice? It would be a keller to go with him and then see Cech is still first choice!

He is making it very very very hard not to get him back in

But the closer I get to deadline the more likely I am to take money out of defence and put it in attack !
I think I'd prefer firmino over a 6,ml pool defender for example.......

PVA is kind of like Zaha Lite with the possibility for CS points

    And I don't have zaha...........as I said yday Wan Bisaka is a blessing and a curse :(

Jordan Ayew to Palace on loan.

That might force Zaha out wide more often.

    Already edging toward 4.5/4.0 keeper
Mendy , 5 ml (probably lowton or maybe TAA) 2 rotating 4.5 (Cedric +1) and wan bisaka
Cairney 5th mid to also rotate with these
Can have aguero firmino king then
I just can't have so much money in defence
It's not the way I play the game
    Hence still have Sanchez

I think it is utterly pointless to have just Salah from pool attack . No fun when he scores or assists unless ya have the assister or scorer !!!

Gonna wait on a united defender
This team is only gonna be for 3 weeks anyway :D

They would be better off sticking with Benteke , Sorloth or the tea lady

It seems Fulham are signing some midfielder for 30 million from Marseille. I'll probably need to move away from my 4.5 mid McDonald now.

Perez gone to West Ham. Will this move Arnie back to midfield/wing? At the price King starting to look the better option for goals out of the King, Arnie, Zaha trio.

Lucas Perez on his way to West Ham. Will he play out wide? Or is Arnie's CF role looking precarious?

I’m going Mane as 2nd Liverpool attacker. I’d prefer Firmino, but with an expensive defence (Mendy, Robbo, David Luiz) I’m limited to a choice between Mane/Zaha or Pedro/Firmino.

I could downgrade my back line but I just don’t see any value in the 7-9m midfield range to replace Mane. (I have Bernardo Silva already)

If a person was to go for a wolves wing back they have never heard of should it be Jonny or Doherty

I'd have Pedro/Firmino all day. In fact I do have Pedro and Firmino

Hudson whatshis name has been going well in pre-season, will Sarri start him on one wing and Willian on the other?

I have successfully torn up my expensive defence
Have somehow inexplicably ended up with foster as my only starting keeper
Siggy the only player to survive the entire summer !

I think Hudson Odi's spot is in danger from Willian not Pedro AFAIK
