Thinking of going a 5 man mid of Mane/Dilva/Fraser/Maddison/Ricky and dropping Firminio up top leaving me with Mitro/Sergio up front. Can’t remember last time I didn’t play 3 strikers so it feels weird but think the 5 man mid looks more balanced - any opinions ?

I have always always been a 343 with cheap as chips defence and keeper
My keepers this year are 5 and 4.5
    Defence is 3 premium a 4.5 and wan b
After this week it could be 4 premium and WanB

I have benched mitro and Arnie various weeks

    Great value in midfield
    I have adapted
I don’t think firmino offers anywhere near 9.5 ml value

    Thinking of it myself.

With the VVD doubt, Liverpool will be shakier at the back. May be a both teams scoring type of game.

    Yes, it's mental.

Alonso is effectively a winger getting attacking points. CS is a bonus.

Robertson is the same bracket to an extent.

If this was Cahill & Gomes/VVD, it'd be a different conversation.

Only have Robertson myself, no way would I bench him.

I’m never benching Alonso as long as I own him
With the Vvd news Robertson will be benched if I sign trippier and Mendy is fit

I think that’s an easy one
    Bennett

The one time I benched Alonso he scored so never again.

VVD likely out so I'm considering benching Robertson and playing Ings. Can't see them keeping a clean sheet with Lovren.

Thinking of upgrading Stephens and going for a 5 mid. Might go with Fraser
    Hazard mane richarlison Maddison Fraser

AWB more likely to get bonuses so I would go him over Bennett

Ah tbf, I can actually see the logic to it. Southampton at home V Bournmouth away. Plus, with two 9s in a row, it's unlikely that AWB will reach that figure three weeks in a row. I've both as well but I've already committed myself to playing AWB every week just because he's now a legend. :pac: :)

I've a back 5 of Alonso, TAA, Shaw, Doherty and AWB and not sure what formation or personnel to go with.

Going with Alonso and TAA in the hope of attacking returns....Doherty in the 3rd spot at the minute.

Don't fancy Palace at Bournemouth and not convinced by Shaw and/or ManU away to West Ham

Go with form I'd say, Alonso playing well TAA is getting some returns and AWB is picking bonus points very easily.

    Play Robertson or Ings?

Normally would favour the striker but just can't see Southamption scoring. Plus Robertson's ownership if he scores well...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,136 ✭✭✭✭How Soon Is Now

Still have Salah really dunno what to do with him!

Two big games coming up for Liverpool he could be huge for thrm.

I already have Hazard Richarlison and Frasier.....

Mane has blanked his last two where as Salah scored last time out.

Also have two free transfers this week ha.

Trying to decide whether to play Neves or AWB. I haven't looked at Palace's last two games. Has AWB being earning his bonus points through their solidity in defence or has he being doing well going forward? Don't see them holding the CS this game week so not sure if it's worth keeping him in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,741 ✭✭✭Dr. Bre

Neves hasn’t done anything since opening day

I'd play AWB over Neves. Looks dangerous going forward and barring a goal from a free kick can't see Neves getting more than a 3 pointer

If AWB has been looking dangerous going forward then I'll play him ahead of Neves, I just wasn't sure if he was accumulating his points from other means.

I might just shift Mendy for Doherty last minute so I'm not faced with this decision.

Who's to say that Mendy will even get straight back into the team when fit. Pep might try and teach him a lesson. He won't show it in the presser but he's probably fuming at Mendy's lack of professionalism.
