Liverpool aren't guaranteed a place in CL though. Mane and Firmino have been rotated. Lallana and Sturridge are itching to get game time in the league, it's only a matter of time before Salah gets a rest too imo. Will it be this weekend?, only time will tell.

I'd put my house on Salah starting this weekend. (save this post for when he's benched :P)

Happy with my team for this gameweek.

    Patrício
    Alonso, Holebas, Alexander-Arnold
    Fraser, Hazard, Richarlison, Salah (C)
    Ings, Mitrovic, Firmino

Trippier benched, would anyone start him for any of the above?

I'm starting him ahead of Ings but then I'm a Newcastle supporter who thinks each week they are going to turn the season around with the chance of a clean sheet and a win against Southampton just the next disappointment waiting to happen.

I’d start Tripp over richarl and go 4 at the back 3 in the mid

Best 5.4 mid? I’m thinking Neves or Kennedy? Any input?

I've had Neves since the start and he's done nothing except for opening day. Someone who knows more than me pointed out he'll score a worldie now and then but he's not great FF material, his goals/assists tally wasn't great last year in the Championship. I still have him (like an eejit) He's cheap and starts

I agree completely busts. Mathematically speaking the percentages favor the DGW on the assumption plays 90mins. But that doesn't take into account the variables.

    For example:

Salah has an expectancy of 8 points this week based on bookies.

In a double game week, he could have an expectancy of 4 points against one team and 4 points against the second team depending on fixtures. So the variable of fixtures are huge thing.

He also could have 8 points and 8 points expectancy in a DGW which would indicate the fixtures are easy but then if they have a CL game he may not play.

Mathematical probability will always say a DGW has best chance of success. But this is a random game and if you have a gut for a sgw and they haul it can work.

Another statistical advantage of a DGW is that there are 6 bonus of offer vs 3. A goal in each game of a double can net more points thst a brace in a sgw.

There are several Brighton mids which are good value and have good fixtures, picking the right one is the hard part.

Mooy, Delefeau, Snodgrass are options with varying risk of game time, as posted above Murphy has looked good also

Alonso triple captain if Hazard is injured. One of the best average away points stats, Burnley are mookaku and no one would think to even captain him. Clean Sheet. Bonus points. 9 points x 3. Goal 6 x 3. That's not inconceivable.

If I had balls of steel I would do this.

Burnley have never failed to score at home to Chelsea in the PL. One goal and you are screwed.

Personally I’d never captain a defender, and definitely not TC one (and in a SGW at that).

Roatation. Will be needed some weeks but not every week

Am hoping this is my team by GW 11

    Leno Hamer
    Mendy Robertson zaba Bennet AWB
    Salah Hazard KDB Hojbjerg 5.4
    Kun Ings Mitro

Would appreciate any thoughts on a potential bench boost this week?

    Patricia
    Robbo Alonso Doherty
    Salah(c) Hazard Richarlison Knockaert
    Aguero Mitrovic Arni

    Ryan(WOL) Kenedy(sou) AWB(ARS) Yedlin(sou)

    Bench fixtures in brackets.

    Reasons for BB:
    1) On paper 15 starters as long as no manager acts the bollox.
    2) Good fixtures for the majority of my team.
    3) Too much money tied up on my bench.
    4) I've never had any success with a BB during a DGW, and you could make the argument that it hindered me in the weeks leading up to using it. Would like to just be done with the chip.

I also have 1 FT to tinker with my team, anyone have any thoughts either way?

I'd keep trippier benched, city will almost certainly score.

Benching richy over trippier would be madness imo

What would the average bench boost points gain be?

    6 ponts? 10? More?

On a SGW I would say 8-12. 2 points if they all play and then maybe extra to make up for it if one doesn't

On a DGW the likeihood is that Hits will be taken etc so that's harder to gauge.

In a single gameweek I’d say around 10. In a double gameweek around 15.

I think you should be aiming for 15. A clean sheet and an attacking return. I think if you are fairly certain all 15 will start and your 4 bench players have a reasonable chance of getting a return is when you need to consider it. Most prefer the dgw and combining it with a wildcard but this has other knock on effects .

In a single gameweek I’d say around 10. In a double gameweek around 15.

That is in line with my thinking and is why I will be using it before Xmas while I still have 2 playing keepers as basically a clean sheet and save points/bonus for your keeper and it is a success........
My keepers are Schemichel and Patricio
This weekend Schemichel is home to west ham and patricio away to Brighton. Currently starting Patricio.........rest of bench is Ricky away to united, Cook away to Fulham and AWB home to arsenal. I am slightly tempted but will have a look at fixtures till xmas first as there will probably be a better week especially when I move Cook on and AWB has better fixtures.
BB has cost me points in the DGW anytime I used it

GW 14 is calling me ......city chelsea great home fixtures as do most of the cheapies in my squad......

I don't think I will use mine this week (although I'm leaning strongly towards using it in a SGW this year) but would you consider it if your bench was Bettinelli (or similar priced keeper), AWB, Bennett and Kenedy (or similar priced)?

I have 2 FTS and no obvious moves. I do want to downgrade one of my keepers to a 4.0 either this or next week, which would obviously rule out a BB after that.

    Probably not
    Fulham will concede
    Palace will prob concede
    Wolves might not
    Kenedy who knows!

    Leno
    Bennet Mendy Robertson Zabaletta
    Salah (c) Hazard Kenedy Richarlison
    Kun Mitro

    Ings AWB Hojbjerg

Ings has higher points expectancy than Ricky anyway

But don't see why you don't just start Ricky instead of Zabaleta?

Ya I’d normally play with 3 Cf’s.. I’m a united fan and we’re rubbish so I’m expecting a haul from Ricky ha
