Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Tomc21,

Welcome to Boards. I've moved your post across to Farming & Forestry where I believe people may be better equipped to help with your query.

Depends on the HP, psi and flow rates.

They can be great. We have a 17hp Honda driven and it’s an amazing machine.

    Price, hp, pressure, engine make?
Triace in Fermoy manufacture their own. Sell direct. Check website. A good reference point to price against.

I don't think you need huge power to wash a trailer unless it's a big one. 3hp (electric) does it here, I'd never be bothered hauling out a bigger one as it'd be me that would get soaked working in the confined space of the trailer. Often, a good soak with a hose an hour earlier beats more hp. Now, if you have other work for it then that's a difcerent story

It's just where I wash the trailers I have no electricity and I have no water tap for a hose the water source is a 2000 gls tank that collects rainwater from the shed roof I have a tractor one but as you say the hassle of connecting it up every time you want to wash something I just seen Heaton buckely had a special offer on a petrol washer or would I be better going the extra money to get a Honda or something similar

I saw a 5.5hp 3000psi petrol washer in Dairygold, surely that can't be right you'd want 13hp to drive that.

    +1 for the Triace.

I imagine it'll drive it, but with alot less throughput than the 13 hp due to the narrower nozzle required to force up the pressure. Probably fine for this job though and the extra bit of pressurd should help shift the dried in muck, (unless there's paint involved)

What is the flow rate? Big figures and like the lad with the big horn it be flattened in seconds.
