Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gini the most naturally gifted striker at the club.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,466 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

This Liverpool side look unstoppable, we could even have luxury of conceding 2 in a game and still win it 5-2

Nice - and what a ball from the back and then from Bobby

Turned the game on late and actually expected Liverpool to be winning. It's all a bit mad tbh.

Poor from Moreno to let the cross in unchallenged

Salah is well off his best tonight.

Moreno not doing himself any favours there...

Moreno keeping a nice 12 feet between him and guy crossing ball, so poor.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,246 ✭✭✭ardinn

Salads passing is very poor - givin lads hospital balls on the right all game so far!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,348 ✭✭✭✭ricero

Gini is looking very sharp. If Milner is fit i would start Gini, Milner and Keita on Sunday.

You wouldn't want to be relying on Moreno to stop those crosses week in week out. It's not in him

Any season now he is due to block one............

Moreno never learns, he makes same mistake over and over and over and over and over and over and over. So annoying .

I know people have said Mo doesn't look that sharp... I dunno... he looks like he's making them poop themselves every time he has the ball (and he has an assist).

    This year's Mane, unless he scores 5 he's sh!t

Think its gonna take Fabinho a while to settle. We play so differently to Monaco and he doesn't seem full of confidence at the moment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Should’ve been a second for Wijnaldum.

Loved that bit of play there by Liverpool, to me to you, to me to you and then clean through, chuckle bros would be proud.

I'm sure we play different than RB Leipzig and Stoke etc but Keita and Shaqiri look alright, I don't buy the whole we play different to Monaco thing. Sure it might take him a while to settle to the pace of the PL or in his new surroundings but 9 times out of 10 good players have no problem adapting. We will learn more in the next few months how he's getting on though, I've said it before hopefully not another Bakayoko.

Our two world record transfers could be broken with in days.

Chelsea with a keeper and Man U with Maguire ;) lol

TAA is so much better for Kloppball than Clyne, Wiji clearly sees an opportunity to grab a berth with Henderson not playing this weekend and Milner likely to be deepest midfielder.
Salah is a curates egg tonight, when he is moving the ball on quickly he's fine but is inaccurate running with ball at feet.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,928 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Fab trying a bit to hard at the moment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Good first half, great to see the front 3 back in action.

    Glad Wijnaldum is still here.

As others have said, think it’ll take a while for Fabinho to fully settle in but it’s promising to see him carrying to ball forward rather than playing it sideways or trying a Hollywood cross field ball.

Keita reminds me of Firmino with his passing. Plays a lot of high risk balls that are great when they come off as they take players out of the game, but if intercepted just look poor. Can see a lot of people getting frustrated with him at times.

Don’t think we’ll see philips again.

And say what you like about Moreno but some people wouldn’t have a reason to post without him.

Bloody hell Ings is playing, waste of a berth surely?

    Sturridge looking sharp again...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Looks like Sturridge will be playing as second striker this season, means he doesn't have to sprint much or as far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Poor from Ings. Slightly behind him but should be doing better.

Try supporting the player rather than taking cheap shots at one of our own team, you might enjoy it.

You're now the sole, single and only member of the Danny Storage anti-fan club! :D I was never agin him the player only the perma-crock and God fearing aspects.

He really is, he's so good at getting the ball to his feet in the box, the little movement he has to get a yard away from his man to pick up the pass to him followed by trying to get a crack at goal.
I really hope that he keeps up the fitness.

This Jones lad is also impressing me, always looking for the ball, always moving and very neat with what he is doing. Not afraid to nip in with a tackle as well.

Shaqiri is exceeding my expectations of him so far. I may have underestimated him.

Think TAA showed enough to start on Sunday

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

    Back 4 predictions for Sunday?

    I'm guessing:

    Clyne, Gomez, VVD, Robertson
