US feeds always have a better sound of the crowd compared to the muted UK channels.

Salah chant after the goal was spine tingling stuff.

I'm seriously excited for the first time since Istanbul..

Mane has been their best player.

We are literally playing 8 players in the opposition half this season with Gomez and VVD on the halfway line and Alisson on the edge of his own box.

That really is a crazy high line.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,440 ✭✭✭SM01

The high press is great. We're like a bunch of angry wasps swarming around the Brighton players and they're finding it hard to live with it. I hope they can keep this up.

Sadio mane must have given it away 8/9 times already I’m sure he’s aware we’re in red😂

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,398 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Wouldn’t get those touches from Henderson.

    Gini’s some man.

    Great ball from Salah.

Gets the whole stadium singing loudly for a solid few minutes each time. Gets the place bouncing, I think.

Alisson was always in control there, never worried about him botching that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,398 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

    Shocking decision.

No excuse for the linesman getting that wrong....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,520 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Brighton doing well here, constantly forcing us wide having to cross it in knowing that Duffy will win nearly every header in his own box. We could really do with Shaqiri here, very good at unlocking this sort of defence.

Robertson plays like a fcuking Brazilian.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,012 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Fabinho & Henderson are going to have to play at some level to replace Gini in the DM role.

Bit lackadaisical on the ball. Need to up the tempo second half, particularly in midfield. Milners has another great game, especially off the ball, but he and Gini have things down to walking pace a bit too much.

Mane has given the ball away 12 times in 45 minutes that must be a record

    We're coasting too much.

Fancy they'll get a bit of a kick up the arse at half time and come out and score a few more second half.

When does Keita get his testimonial?

Need Opta to check through Pogba's and Sanchez' stats for 2018 first.

Mane's been very bad today, tonnes of unforced bad passes.

Firing out the stats on NBCSN. 29 goals in 29 Anfield matches for Mo and that is (currently) 20 goals without reply at Anfield for Liverpool since the last one conceded to West Ham back in February.

Liverpool’s best run of goals scored at Anfield since 1988.

Millie's had some key tackles that half - not least the one that set up the goal - legend!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,074 ✭✭✭SuperTortoise

2nd gear sort of half, need to step it up a bit and put it beyond doubt.

BT are firing out the same stats in between Steve McManaman's drivel.

I'm really glad Michael Owen is in the studio so he can explain why Salah took that with his left foot.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,578 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

Don't get Michael Owen's comparison of Liverpool players coming at you from everywhere like the Red Arrows who are famous for flying in formation!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Owen and Keown in the studio? Best believe my tv is on mute.

He was going to mention Blitzkrieg but he thought he was a Hoffenheim defender.

Also that handball from Propper looked a pretty definite penalty to me

Too casual there from us. Could have been costly

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,012 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

The amount of padding on Fun Bobby's shins.

That kind of tells you how many times he gets kicked.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,984 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

That's more a penalty than a free out, keeper goes straight into Firmino.

Lol a free to the keeper for taking out an attacker

    ******

Those will be free outs 100 times out of 100. Always have been.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭klose

How you can't challenge a keeper for a ball these days drives me nuts, Ryan pushed firmino and gets a free?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,520 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Duffy must’ve spotted a Tyrone jersey in the crowd.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,184 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

I can’t remember the last time our passing was this disjointed. We look unsure at times.

Sloppy and a bit disjointed here.....need to concentrate and not try and rush everything...
