    I second that. Fantastic course.

Then you have New Forest or about 30 mins away there is Tullamore, one of the best parkland courses around.

I’ll have to check if there are any opens on! Which is nearer to athlone

What day (for opens), you’d also have Esker Hills, in terms of activity I’d say Esker would be the quietest...

I played New Forest & Tullamore last week. Would definitely be favoring Tullamore over New Forest IMO.

    Both good courses though.

I see Moate mentioned here a bit, is it worthwhile?

I've always seen corballis mentioned here would that be worth the trip from mullingar???

A couple of Boardsies played in our Scratch Cups last weekend and seemed quite pleased with it which is great.

I'm a member in Moate and it is in great shape at the minute so it's well worth a visit. I hope you come see for yourself, Open Singles stableford on Thursday only €12 for visitors.

Delvin Golf Course also, 20 mins drive away. Not a fan of the course personally but maybe some like it.

    Nevermind, Delvin is closed!

    Delvin GC is closed.

Every one of them is worth a visit imho.

Each very different and all are a challenge.

When are you thinking of playing? Open week in on in Athlone this week

Corballis would be a long enough round trip from Mullingar. Plenty of courses close by and leave Corballis until you are on the East coast sometime.
