    Teams:
Chelsea XI: Kepa; Azpilicueta, Christensen, David Luiz, Emerson; Kovacic, Jorginho, Loftus-Cheek; Willian, Giroud, Hazard.

Eintracht Frankfurt XI: Trapp; Abraham, Hinteregger, Falette; Da Costa, Rode, Hasebe, Kostic; Gacinovic; Rebic, Jovic.
Valencia XI: Neto; Piccini, Paulista, Garay, Gaya; Wass, Parejo, Coquelin, Guedes; Gameiro, Rodrigo.

Arsenal XI: Cech; Sokratis, Koscielny, Monreal; Maitland-Niles, Torreira, Xhaka, Kolasinac; Ozil; Aubameyang, Lacazette.

Kante misses out for Chelsea which is a big blow. Pleased to see Sebastien Haller on the bench for Frankfurt. Expect he'll feature at some stage.

Thought Santi Mina would start for Valencia after he did well at the weekend but he's on the bench. Big game for Ozil.

    I'll say 2-1 Chelsea and 2-0 Valencia.

    Arsenal's defence is so bad.

1-0 Valencia. Gameiro finishes Rodrigo's nice cross. Game on.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Aubameyang equalises against the run of play. Big goal and a great finish.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,643 ✭✭✭RollieFingers

    So is Valencia's, great finish.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

Really good link up play by Arsenal's best 2 players by a huge distance right now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Chelsea almost take the lead but Hasebe does great to clear off the line.

Update: They have it now via a nice finish from Loftus-Cheek.

    JOVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC

He's scored again! All square in the tie.

    Luiz caught ball-watching.

    Brilliant goal from Lacazette!

    Arsenal surely through now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Valencia get a scrappy goal back through Gameiro. They need three more.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,762 ✭✭✭✭Inquitus

Arsenal coasting, Chelsea look in real trouble, level on aggregate and all Frankfurt for the last while.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

I havn't watched lots of Chelsea this season but when I do, Kepa just never seems to do anything you'd want from a keeper who cost so much. He basically goes onto his knees and shows Jovic where to put it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Garay almost did a Kompany. Valencia need a goal quickly if they're to have a chance of rescuing this.

Arsenal through now at 3-6, you'd imagine.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Valencia sunk at the other end as Aubameyang strikes again. La Liga side's defence haven't been able to handle Arsenal's attack.

This Chelsea game is great fun, could go either way.

    That should’ve been red

Is Sarri more hatred than Rafa by the Chelsea fans now.

    Booing their own manager again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Another Arsenal goal as Aubameyang completes the hat-trick. Belter of a finish.

Did I hear right this is Arsenal's first win in Spain in 13 years? Should've learned my lesson last round not to doubt Emery in this competition.

The final is in Baku. Absolute horror of a location for Arsenal fans to get to.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,012 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

I don't see flights to Baku selling out within the next few hours.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Haller's on for Eintracht. If he's fit he can make a difference.

    Extra-Time on the way.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,012 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Extra time in the Chelsea game.

Haven’t seen them this season in the league but Valencia were pretty terrible over the two legs.

    Haller hits the post!

Edit: I stand corrected. Luiz with a great clearance.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,012 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

    Luiz off the line clearance.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Sebastien Haller causing loads of problems. Hope he gets a late winner.

I reckon Chelsea win on penalties tbh. Eintracht need to put away one of their chances

It's odd that no one has radio rights in teh UK, unless it's a station I can't find.

BBC 5Live has it I think.

Not that it helps, but the games on BT are about the only reason I keep Eir broadband.

Nope. Nor Talksport (or TS 2 as I'm sure there would be flyers all over the internet if they did have it)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,012 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

talksport had the other semi final maybe they jumped over to this one now.

    No VAR there Chelsea unlucky.

    Goal disallowed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Heart in the mouth moment there for Trapp. Think the ref was right to disallow the goal.

    VAR wouldn't have given that.

Right that'll teach me to trust listings on the EPG,

edit - phone in stuff, so no they aren't following the drama at the Bridge

Would have. Goalkeeper never had control of the ball.

Dunno, he kinda had it until there was some contact then lost it before the head went in. We'll never find out now anyways.

Nah, think it was debatable enough that the benefit would always go to the keeper. He had it in his hands, then let go for a split second in the air, but when contact is made, he has 2 hands on the ball again. The contact is directly what caused him to let go again, so would have been ruled a foul i'd say.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,012 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

    Penalties it is.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 52,319 Mod ✭✭✭✭Necro

Penalties here we come. Come on the Frankfurters! I...think... I'm very confused. Sometimes it's better playing the devil you know as opposed to the devil you don't.

Maybe you should have another look. He had it in 2 hands until Azpilacueta barged into him/hit his arm.
