Apparently the defender would be nowhere near the team only for injuries but still woeful.

City have been terrible. They obviously were robbed of a peno so you might say justice done but the actual football was ropey.

Really attacking line up from Utd. Hard to see how he sets this up defensively. Fancy them to win this easy if things go well early on.

Braced for a Valencia win tonight. Plenty of great attacking talents on show. Expecting Guedes to produce, and Batshuayi to score. Probably Sanchez hooked before 60 minutes.

Lively opening in the United game, they look a lot brighter than they did at the weekend. Valencia getting a lot of joy down the left (against, er, Valencia)

Even the "Wheyyy" from United fans at a terrible Valencia shot was half-hearted.

Shakhtar lead 1-0 in Lyon. Moraes with a good finish.

And that's the last kick of the half. Lyon's best effort saw Moussa Dembele through on goal but he shot it straight at Pyatov. The away side have been the better team thus far.
