Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dzeko with 2 goals for Roma so far against CSKA

1 Nil at half time really doesn't tell the story in Manchester the home team played off the park.

Juve been good to be fair. Should be further ahead really. United probably fortunate that neither Valencia or Young Boys look good enough to challenge for 2nd in the group.

City in total control should be 4 or 5 nil

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,612 ✭✭✭eigrod

Mourinho’s tactics really are so one dimensional- knock it long. Lukaku is no Drogba and this defence is nothing like the Chelsea one he had.

Correct. Hit the post, had one cleared off the line, several decent opportunities not taken advantage of (I'm looking at you Gabby and Riyad). No silly errors at the back in the next 20 minutes and we should coast to the final whistle.

Lyon started well but Hoffenheim have battered them since. Lopes has kept the score level with his saves.

Dybala has a great knack of Ghosting into the box, reminds me of a young Paul Scholes for doing it..

    We've been absolute muck

Not being a Serie A viewer, I've been surprised at just how good Juve look. A real class above Utd

They are seemingly favourites to win it according to BT. We are cat though and it's only a matter of time before they get another.

Lukaku should have stayed in the dressing room. He has been absolutely useless the last month for his.

Hoffenheim lead Lyon 2-1 as Kramaric gets another. Hopeless defending from Lyon.

typically when you've been dominant and only score one you regret it, although other times you don't

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

Roma 3 up at home after losing to SPAL last weekend.
I'm disappointed James Richardson didn't have a good Undertaker joke

    Thank **** for De Gea.

Brilliant stop from De Gea. Saving United's blushes once again.

That was a fantastic strike, and an even better save

Liverpool scouts are in attendance wonder who they are interested in.

Mata tripped by Martial and the ref give the free to Man U

Hope it's not Ndombele who's one of my favourite players. He's just equalised from a tight angle with a fierce shot. 2-2 now.

    DEPAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

    3-2 Lyon.

    Memphis steps up again.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

City 3 up Bernardo Silva walks into the box and puts it in off the post.
I get the feeling this is not a very strong Shaktar side.

Look at the state of that United bench.
    Eric Bailly
    Andreas Pereira
    Fred
    Ander Herrera
    Sergio Romero
    Matteo Darmian
    Tahith Chong

‘Ronnie’s’ homecoming has been a bit of a damp squid so far. Was never going to live up to 8 years of hype but expected more than this.

Look at the state of that United bench.

That bench cost more than most PL teams outside of the top 6 to be fair.

Lukaku’s touch is abysmal. It’s an actual disgrace.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,813 ✭✭✭Noveight

Lot of poor crosses/corners from United, seem to peter out towards the empty back post.

Apart from when he played there for Madrid in 2013 and was instrumental in their win.

    Scarleh for ya.

Think Hoffenheim should have had a pen. Denayer had his hands in an unnatural position but ref not interested.

Update: And Vogt misses a great chance to make amends for his mistake earlier by heading wide. Lyon have been abysmal at defending crosses tonight.

Look at the state of that United bench.

    Mourinho’s plan B, C, D, E & F go out the window when Fellaini is injured

    JOELINTOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNN

3-3 in Germany. Hoffenheim deserved at least a point from this game. They might even get more than that. Few minutes to go in what's been a great match.

Mission accomplished. We never really got out of second, maybe third gear. On to the cabbage patch that will be Wembley next monday.
