Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Terrible tackle by Verratti. He should have walked for it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,384 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Verratti lucky he wasn't given a red for that. Poor challenge. I reckon under VAR he'd be off.

Definite red. Caught him half way up his shin.

    NEYMAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR

Lovely break from PSG to make it 2-0.

    Liverpool can't get near them.

Verratti would be a worry for Tuchel. One more foul and he'll be off.

If Newcastle have a Champions League level manager over a Championship level squad, then Liverpool have a Champions League level attack with a Championship level midfield.

Fan of Firmino and Mane but they've been passengers in this game. They need to get some service.

Soon as I write that Mane almost wins a pen. And from the replay he should have got one.

And they have been awarded it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

That’s a stone wall penalty. Stupidity of the highest order from Di Maria

Mane already going down before contact, did himself out of a pen.

Edit: Or not?! Thought he gave a corner?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,612 ✭✭✭eigrod

This ref is so far out of his depth

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,014 ✭✭✭✭Corholio

Oof one of those 'putting your legs into the tackler' penalties. Second replay showed it. Always given as a penalty though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

    And Milner scores it. 2-1.

Mane's been feeding off scraps and yet he's dragged his team back into it by winning that.

Didnt realise the ref had given it :pac:

Is there a more unlikable player in the world than neynar?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,855 ✭✭✭irishguitarlad

What was Di María doing haha

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Half-Time. Game very much alive. I think Liverpool warranted a goal back. PSG were also fortunate to not have Verratti sent off.

PSG's attack always looks dangerous on the break. Neymar looks in the mood. Milner's done well for Liverpool. Alisson has made some good saves.

Still think there's something in this for Liverpool.

I think we can all agree that there isn't.

I love watching Neymar. Can't fathom people bemoaning such a mercurial talent.

Don't talk to me about diving because every team has one.

Yes I think we can all put aside our differences for him.

Neymar doesn't dive , he jumps on the ground rolls around 15 times, has a cry , sees what the ref is gonna do, then gets up and plays on

I'd say he has more dives in a game than we'd see on a weekend in the PL or La Liga.

I'd say Suarez dives as much if not more.

If that and the earlier 'LOL' are all you can offer as a counter to my point then I'm left to conclude you accept it to be true, however begrudgingly.

Get out of bed wrong side of something? Jaysus lighten up.. He's a diver and worst culprit since your asking...end of story...How are you even trying to defer that is mind boggling.

You're the one being negative and asking if there's a more unlikeable player than him. I happen to admire watching the world's best players, of which he is clearly one. Does he dive? Sure he does. But lots of players dive. Loved Damien Duff as a player but he was fond of a dive as well. Didn't hurt my appreciation of his talent.

Anyway, back to the game and Liverpool are having a good spell atm. Wonder will Tuchel put Rabiot on.

Vertonghen's missed a great chance to give Spurs the lead.

instead of debating the post ,your rebuttal to a valid point was LOL and another snide remark/post.

So imo its a low level of poster and probably best ignored.

Get me now or do you need any more info ?

Snide how so? No sense if humour no? Not see the smile to the other poster no.? Bit sensitive there and you respond with with nothing but snide remarks...you choose not to see that though....

Don't mean to derail this topic but I'm not taking comments like "there's the level your dealing with " and he says I made snide remarks.

Could that goal Napoli conceded be vital if results stay the same? As in a 1-0 for Liverpool would be enough instead of needing 2?

As it stands Pool +1 GD ,Napoli +3.

I can see Pool getting the draw here anyways.
