Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Jaysis Ajax are a story!!!

Look at how much they've improved since the defeat to United in the EL final. A team playing with no fear.

Superb to get his head on that ball between those two Juve defenders.

Fully deserved. The United fans can't even celebrate a Ronaldo win tonight lol

Van De Beek is some player.

The roar from the Barca crowd when Ajax scored was brilliant

This must be the worst ever performance by an English team in the CL quarters.

The influence that Cruyff has had on these two clubs is amazing. You can see it everytime they both play

This ajax side are so refreshing. They've no interest in sitting back at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,775 ✭✭✭✭Gbear

Ah **** it. It should be about 4-1 to Ajax here. Still plenty of time for them to rue those misses.

    That should have been that

Should have finished it off there, beautiful ball

Juve desperately need to start making things happen, but they can't even keep a hold of the ball in any sort of dangerous area. Ajax unreal, still look the most likely to score the next one.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

    That should have been that

They could be 4-1 up here too.

Ajax will be like Monaco were two seasons ago and will lose all their best players in the summer.

They are probably a better collective then any individual brilliance. If any of them were to depart, they would have to fit into a system at another club that may not particularly suit them with the exception of Barca perhaps

Not taking your chances usually comes back to haunt you.

Switching from Rte game to tv3 game, it's time the latter got their picture quality sorted out.

    It's not 1988 any more

That's the best moment of Sanchez's Utd career so far

If any manager, be it Zidane in the summer, who wanted to buy pogba, if I was the man who signs the cheque I'd be asking him to show me a couple of performances that make him worth €100m+

I bet you they couldn't show you 2

POGBA is the new emperor and he's stark bollick naked

This Ajax team is something else. Beautiful to watch.

There's a pretty big chance that either Spurs or Ajax are gonna be in the Champions League final

    No replay??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Why didn’t they show any replays of that? A bit fishy tbh.

    Edit: yeah 100% offside tbf.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Pity... surely won’t rue these chances

Still creating plenty of chances Ajax.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,109 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

VAR got it right. Didn't spot the offside at full pace

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,775 ✭✭✭✭Gbear

Fair enough call in the end by the linesman.

I want to be critical of this pissing about with their finishing, but it's gotten them this far.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

Is that a 4th choice left back for Ajax?
Tagliafico was suspended, his replacement got injured & his sub was subbed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Ajax won't sit back. They don't know how to.

Hopefully they don't rue these missed chances.

They won't be an easy game for Spurs or City anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,404 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

    Feck sake.
    Should have scored seven.

Ajax should be out of sight here. Between Syczesney making 2 class saves and themselves missing 4 or 5 chances, it's insane.
