Making a game entirely around Fallout 4's combat was idiotic in the first place. As gunplay goes, it's pretty damn awful. VAT's made it a bit fun, but even that's gone. Destined for failure from the start imo, and that's even before Bethesda ****ed everything else up.

you know you can actually play a fallout 2 online game, i use to play it years ago.
And it's probably got more to do and more work put into it than durple A bethesda's effort.

No idea how active it is these days or if its still supported.

Even FTP I wouldn't when a game has gotten two 50GB updates I don't bother.

Playing the game and it is okay in short bursts not many bugs. When playing for longer than an hour it can play up. Throwing you from server and lose your progress in a mission. Enemies appearing before you out of nowhere.
Be okay game for 20 euro as you play for ages but if you play games in long session it acts up terrible.

I'm on XBox 1 unfort. Finding it difficult to find groups to play with so been a lot of solo world exploring so far. I only got to play for a few hours so far so I'm only level 5 at the moment so lot of building up to do still.

I like the game so far but I do feel they should have had non human players built in as well as world feels very empty with only other humans to connect with and they seem to be rare to encounter.

1) looks very nice
2) fun to explore
3) weird no npc characters. Actually makes zero sense.
4) only lvk six.....more to come.

I see you can pick it up for 15eu on cdkeys for Xbox. Did they fixed it to at least some level? Any proper pve content?
I could throw away 15 quid just to ass around for a bit over few days off.

Does it still runs like arse on Xbox?

I likes the game and most of the main issues are dealt with. The servers are not as bad apart from white springs as lots of people stay their to level up quick and get good weapons. The story is not great but if you like fallout games it is good. You just need to look at The perk cards to combat the hunger and thirst so that you don't have to keep topping up with food and drink.

Thanks. I bought it. Only 15eu, so might as well until Division 2 comes out. Need to take a bit of a break from Crossout and Diablo 3.

So I played this for about 6h now.

I am not sure what to think of it, but it is clear as day, that not including NPCs, was stupidest thing ever.
6h in and I don't feel like I progressing at all. The clunkiness of this ancient engine does not help at all. Looks and runs on Xbox one x like ass. Title screen floating world looks so good, sharp, colourful, but in game it just looks so... Bland.
Will give it a bit more time and hopefully they will do "No man's sky" on it's ass and I will have it library already.
Oh yeah, the first person I met

This happened to me when I first started. Some high level gave me stimpaks and pure water.

So, whenever I pass by Vault76 and I see a level1-3 player I drop a few stims and water

It plays like a single player game. The lack of NPCs is a disgrace but the setting and visuals are brilliant.

I don't really mind the lack of NPCs, they have done a good job of using holotapes / notes to give a background of the world / quests.
