    Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a program for Windows that can play back .h265 files a neighbour of mine has asked me to look at something for them.

I made a quick back up of a few hours so I can look for them in my own time as they weren't sure when the incident happened.

    Thanks again lads

    vlc. Plays everything.

If for any reason it's not picking up the file automatically, right click and choose open with.

I tried vlc earlier but it didn't work, could be a dodgy file perhaps as the DVR had no name on it and the interface is rubbish as well .

Many thanks for the reply though

    Weird.

You could try to convert it to a different video type using Oxelon Media Converter?
