The Arcam sounds incredible in 2 channel. They tried to make it as musical an amp as possible to give the best possible sound for both movies and music. The calibration is easy enough, it's just a case of measuring speaker distance and size.

If I purchased the amp and found it not to my taste could I return it, no quibbles etc …..

I'm sort of laughing as when I was posting this one I actually thought would you go for it!!

Honestly, it's without doubt the best EVER AV amplifier that I've ever heard - and the star is the amplification, so it works really well in either surround or Stereo mode - its in really excellent condition and we are just going to replace it with another Demo AVR850 as our flagship AVR for Demo - really truly exceptional!
