    In bed, fcuking midges .. I left the window open a tiny bit and the little besterds snuck in.
    I was watching the end of last night's movie, cos I fell asleep.. tonights movie, I fell asleep twice but not long enough that it was noticed, third time I jumped out of my skin cos I was trying not to be asleep.. now, I'm in bed wide awake...fighting besterd midges..
    Didn't make the yoga. Vacuumed instead and Mr cbyrd cut the grass and I hung out 2 loads of washing and potted up beetroot and gherkins and cucumber and cherry tomatoes and cress and basil, thanks lidl :D

    Just do it now or come back to a jungle after your holidays and all your work will be undone. Just got text from chap to say he can do parents garden for me Tuesday , thrilled as the past week it has turned into a jungle that I can't do on my own , it's like a battle I can't win with the growing triffids in a 100ft garden . Having tea in the garden and looking forward to seeing the work being done tomorrow and getting garden back to its former glory. Thinking of the pond now , that's the next challenge for me .

    Looking out at the garden my self, few things to do. Wondering what time its acceptable to start using power items on a Bank Holiday, also whilst trying to muster the enthusiasm.

    Trying to gather the energy to do some packing. My parents are in France for a couple of weeks and they've asked me to come out and join them for a few days. I'm due a hospital stay so I'm trying to decide whether to go or not and the flights are booked for tomorrow.

    Lawns done and think I deserve a couple of mugs of coffee and some biscuits while sitting in the garden admiringly.

    Sitting in the garden and laughing at whoever is hacking into my apple account. Tut tut

    @cleo I would be on that flight

    @Sep take deep breaths and relax and write down a rough idea of what you want to do/say and start at the beginning

    @Sra I take great pleasure in cutting the grass and love it when it looks so beautiful

    @Mint where's my sandwich :P

    In another world.

    I was wondering why the road was so quiet and Boards so busy today, and I have only just realised it's a Bank Holiday. Muggy out there but enjoy it everybody.

    Exhausted from packing. How much luggage do two people need for an eight day holiday? Too much, by my reckoning.

    Tickets, passports, itinerary, money, car park details, clothes for travelling...

    Oh, travel plug. Where did we put it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,319 ✭✭✭✭smurfjed

    Just realised that we are leaving for Ireland on Wednesday night and I forgot to pay for the wife's ticket or exit visa :) So a little bit of panic over the last 30 minutes.
