Anyone else got a letter? The meter here was installed in January after a 5 month wait with no power. and now they tell me that a batch of recently installed meters is faulty and mine is one of them.

Won't hold my breath.... they say no danger or overcharging

    Yeah, got a letter too.

Although the letter didn't say the meter was definitely faulty, but it might be.

I googled it to find that ESB seem to have to replace thousands of meters on several occasions, usually as they are overcharging.

In the letter they are swift to assure that this is not the case with this issue

Thet error on the side of caution if anything is wrong they’ll under estimate.

Is this the new digital meters ? Does anyone know what. Batch or model is the problem. Had one installed a few months ago but no letter

I think you are safe then. If you need to know call ESB? The office staff are grand.

    Mine went in mid-January
