    Hi guys

I recently bought a vintage Pioneer SA 610 amp and am looking to pair it with speakers , do you have any suggestions, the spec of the amp are

Power output: 45 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo)

    Frequency response: 10Hz to 60kHz

    Total harmonic distortion: 0.03%

    Damping factor: 50

Input sensitivity: 2.5mV (MM), 150mV (line)

Signal to noise ratio: 82dB (MM), 100dB (line)

    Output: 150mV (line)

    Any thoughts welcome

    Cheers

    Hey Scanner.

Would you have a budget in mind and I can come up with some options to fit.

I'm not familiar with that amp so I'll go and do some checking on it online.

Yeah it's a 1980 Pioneer blue series I picked up to play vinyl from an audio Technica Lp60 that I got previously from you, I was using a Denon avr1909 ( another Richer sounds purchase from years ago 😂) , but the sound was intermittently cutting out for some reason when I also had a HDMI attached , hence the separate stereo amp, I was looking at some of the speakers in your open box sale , qacoustics 3020 or even the smaller monitor mr2 if suitable but was concerned about the 6ohm speakers with 8 ohm amp

Ps separate issue , I like the look of the Cambridge Audio cxu , it says "good condition" can you give any more detail, l miy buy a few bits now credit card is back up and running 😂

    Hey Scanner.

I would say that either the 3020's or the MR2 would run on the Pioneer with no issues even at 6ohms.
Both are listed on the Boards open box sale.

The CXU that is listed is our display unit and has been used several times for in store demos.
It is in good condition with no major marks or dents.
It has a small scratch to the front top left and a few minor scratches on the top lid. (These are very very fine).
It comes fully reboxed with all its accessories.
