Climbing Mount Brandon is a good workout.

Although it gets a lot of cloud. On a sunny day, the views are glorious.

I'd recommend Castlegregory for surfing, if you havnt been before you can get a lesson. If you drive past the town the beach further up to the left is the one with the good waves/surfing.
Before you come to that beach there's a beach/cove thing to the right where the sea is calm, you'll see some inflatable trampolines etc out in the sea, these are probably for kids but are actually great craic. Last summer we rented a giant paddle board here (5 of us fit on it), and after that we hopped on a trampoline & had a bit of fun throwing ourselves into the sea. A bit of swimming involved. You can also rent canoes etc. Great area for water sports, pop on a wetsuit and you'll be good in the sea for an hour or 2. Enjoy!! :)
