    Hi,
    I wanna help my Dad with some issues he is having, we both are on Windows 10.

    Any good recommendations for remote control apps ?

    I was looking at PC anywhere - but what about the windows remote desktop connection app ?

    team viewer is free for person use, TightVNC is free.

    VNC (running as a service) will allow you to make dad a non administrator users and log him out if you need to make changes, where team viewer disconnects is user logs off.
    and that for me is gold!!
