Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Worchester bosch boiler problem

    I have a worchester bosch boiler which is showing an ea fault. it was working fine , the gas valve outside was turned off and then turned back on a couple of seconds afterwards. since then the ea fault is showing up and the boiler won't fire up .
    is there a simple fix or do i need an engineer ?

    Why was the gas valve turned off and by who?
    Get an RGI out to look over the boiler.

    From the user manual:

    EA = Flame not detected/Ignition lockout.
    Remedy:
    Is gas cock on.

    Mod: information removed as it’s only useful for RGIs

    Check the condensate pipe, is it blocked or frozen?



    Try the reset button, and if that doesn't work call a registered gas person.
