I heard a police car go flying towards the harbour at about 7 which must have been just after it happened, and the police helicopter has been hovering around for the last 45 minutes, but it seems to be gone now.



Wish these criminal arseholes would just go off up a mountain somewhere and knock the heads off each other and leave the rest of us out of it :mad:

They just said on the radio that the man who is dead was not known to Gardai at all.

That's Taylor's white mustang parked outside the club in the pics the Independent are running. I wonder if the 35 y/o that was also shot is a former Irish heavyweight pro boxer who was working with Taylor.

They are. Look the first photo in the article and read the caption - "scene of shooting....". Gardai can be seen in the photo. The grey car has its plate covered which may be the NI registered car they mention in the article.
