Getting rid of weeds- New Lawn

    We spread grass seed recently and it’s combing along nicely, but so are the weeds.

    Can anyone recommend how best to deal with these. I’ve attached a photo.

    Many weeds that come up in new lawns will disappear with regular mowing. The seeds were just in the soil and turned up with the work.

    If there are persistent weeds after a while you can use selective weed killers but fresh lawns don’t like them and it would be best wait until it has established.

    Now it regularly and see how it fairs by September.
