It's warranted for successfully doping for such a long period! (I joke... I think!)

Robbie Keane is on the ROW team

He's been a big fan of them since he was a kid.

Seedorf is usually a beast in these games. Still top fit

    Wicks I think.

Mark Wright was in the Hammers, Arsenal and Spurs Academy for a few years and also played Semi-Pro.

Best goal I saw in these was this one from Sergio Pizzorno of Kasabian.
With a name like that, he should have been playing in Serie A!

Used to like watching this for the comedy value, the highlight been Woody Harrleson scoring the winning penalty one year. It’s taken far too serious now with no useless celebs playing.

Rolling Stones played there a few nights ago, and I presume they'll be tearing up the pitch and replanting after this.

    2-0 England

£10 minimum donation. That’s a bit cheeky, would of thought any amount would be greatly received

Thank God Wilkes "I have 4 England caps and 3 goals" isn't anywhere near it this year, neither is Ben Shepard.

Yer man O'Connor has the look of a frequent 5 a sider about him.

In fairness, they did say that every penny goes to UNICEF.
Some of the film from refugee camps shown in the build-up was genuinely touching, especially with the Syrian kids when the crew were asked if they were going to do the same as all before them and get their interviews and leave.

England eventually win a penalty shootout,I suppose none of the actual players took any.

As a Supergirl fan, that penalty shootout pleased me, even if he was a mile off his line for the two saves...

Thought it was gas that they ran up celebrating 3 times to be told they hadn’t won and had to take a Peno each time :pac:

Really hoped Cantona would do something magical. I felt the excitement I felt as a child when I saw him come on and given that I couldn't give a ****e about any team anymore that's saying a lot. Sadly I was expecting a bit much from a 52 year old!

I caught the last 20mins and these comments are only based on that.

But it's amazing how much a pro's touch goes once they get old.

Cantona, and Kluivert especially, jez in the last 20 they were truly awful. They couldn't make simple passes. I know Cantona is 52, but sweet Lord how bad does your touch get when you retire?

And Kluivert is only 41 ffs. He has no excuse.

Id guess a big part of that is simply rustiness... they probably haven’t kicked a ball in months. I’d bet a week of knocking the ball around and they’d be vastly improved.
