Vrakrash has the form of a portly gentleman with a whisker like mustache and fine clothing.

Vrakrash sighs. He misses his scales, muscles and more importantly his armour.

OOC: You've turned me into a human Bandylegs :pac:

The crevice continues down to a chamber of lava far below.

Vrakrash looks around the crystal corridor for a different exit, to see if the other doors have vanished in a similar manner.

With his new frame Vrakrash finds he cannot move as well as he used to, the old fighter's instinct is gone.

OOC: Fighter class nullified. Vrakrash is a classes Level 0 character

The doorway through which they entered the house, the one leading to the crystal walled corridored, is gone. In its place is a sheer drop into a crevice.
"Damn! DaMN! DAMN!" Iuric shouts in frustration. He takes a calming breath "We might have to fix whatever's happened in this accursed place before we can leave."

The East and West doors are still present.

Vrakrath puts his hand on a non crystal part of the wall and pants a bit.

'The, *coughing* doors up there and down... *panting* here... still here.'

    He shuffles East.

Iuric follows Vrakrash and checks to see if Hurguil has calmed down.

"Do me not want to see where that portal goes?"

    Vrakrash turns, panting.

'You can... I'm not walking any further than I have to.'

He tries the East door tentatively.

Hurguil has passed out from stress.

    They enter a hall.

To the South two sets of stairs, one going up, another going down.

    To the East, the kitchen

To the North, a poorly lit room with a candle.

To the NorthEast the hall continues.

Vrakrash staggers into the kitchen, his new portly frame decidedly hungry.

'A feast and we can continue, oh yes lads!'

He licks his lips hoping for a bounty.

The north room is a shrine to Dwarven heroes of the ancient dwarf-elven war that ravaged the area South of Dhurn Dharal.

Several bones are piled up on the ground. Elven sacrificial victims.

The focus of the room is the altar, which houses figurines similar to the statues outside. Two more recent elven corpses lie on the altar.

Above the alter is an ancient dwarven helm, fiery runes etched on it surface.

Very cold air rushes from the lower set of stairs. They are bare stone.

The other set of stairs, going up, are finely made of wood and adorned with a purple carpet.

SarricA examines the corpses and searches them thoughly.
SarricB examines the helm and reads the inscription.

Iuric finds a comfortable spot to place Hurguil and then slowly descends the stone stairs.

The kitchen is quite large, containing two banquet tables. The walls are lined with portraits of the family going back centuries. One portrait has been removed.

At the end of the kitchen, a decaying dwarf with no jaw stirs a foul smelling broth.

Beyond him a set of stairs lead down.

Vrakrash calls out to the decaying dwarf.

'Hail and well met, chap! You got anything to eat round these parts? Sarrics, Iuric - we have our own personal chef!'

The dwarf speaks despite the lack of a jaw, in a rough voice.

"Just the broth fat man, it'll make ye strong"

The runes are obscure Old Dwarvish, not something Sarric can read.

SarricA finds a wand on both corpses, high-elven wizards both.

    Vrakrash wanders up alongside skele-dwarf.

'Alright then. What's in the broth matey?'

Halfway down the stairs, he spots five armed undead standing in a room with several bunk beds. They currently don't see him.

"Elf meat and sweat from Trolls, with a bit of magic to bind it together. The master came up with it, bless him."

    Vrakrash shrugs.

'Shall we both drink to.. oh my word. I am so sorry friend. I forgot your disposition.

Never mind, a cup if you would, they say once you eat or drink in a man's halls he can not lay harm on you - or be cursed for many years.

What sort of place is this anyways?'

SarricA gives a wand to SarricB, "here, were going to have to find some way to distigguish us.."

SarricB say, "I know," and puts the helm on," I'll be known as Nobby, You can go by Sarric, Hows that sound?"

SarricA say, "But i always want to be called Nobby" pause for a few seconds then say"ok agreed then Nobby, dont thinks theres anything else of interest in this room."

Nobby says" what do these wands do?"

Sarric says, "bugger if i know, that helm looks good on you."

    They exit south.

"A mansion, I have served in many, but never before with a master so dedicated to the old ways, before we worshiped the new gods. Back when we followed our true natures."

He offers Vrakrash a cup of the broth. It smells vile beyond belief.
