OOC: I'll assume Sarric boards as sKeith headed with you.

The airship rises into the air and after a five minute journey rises over a sequence of mines and then the city they saw earlier, before docking at a ledge about 600 feet above it.

It touches him briefly and speaks into his mind.

"The city ahead is my races. We are peaceful, though I suspect there is little you would want there. Where do you seek to go?"

'Deep into the Gigadark, the master of the above plane had a room he wishes me to seek out and enter. We also have friends who may have headed there as well.

So I suppose... the Gigadark at least - and if you know tell of the whereabouts of this room, that would be helpful.'

Octavius has a bit of a look around.

"Some of their guard stations for entering that way..." He points further up the ledge "...and a town called Groddin along this walkway" he points down.

Sarric is impressed with the airship and asks any dwarf that will listen "where can i get one of these bad boys, do i have to inquire of the airship builder themselves or is there a shop i can buy one from?"

Iuric sighs "Best to get it done quickly" Iuric says seriously to Sarric and Ser Boros as he exits the ship and heads for Dorin's house.

"Well lad, the airship builders have a shop, so I guess both...costs a bit a coin though, a surface dweller hasn't ordered one in over four years."

Dorin is sitting outside the front door, just outside the town.

He sees Iuric approaching and hangs his head, holding his hands to his eyes.

"What...of the house lad? And what happened to him?"

"Yes we know it, though we leave it. It is two days travel from here.

I will warn you, that this place is dangerous beyond what you uppers know. You are familiar with strong beasts I take it, the ones here are more...strange...to your logic. I would be careful."

    Vrakrash turns to Karinth.

'Danger afoot - beasts that are different to what we ever faced. You up for it?'

He turns back to the being.

'We will set out soon but do we have permission to enter your city, trade and rest for the night?'

"The house should have returned to normal and what happened can never happen again." Iuric takes a deep breath "As for Hurguil, there is no easy way to say this but he died. If it's some small consolation, he died valiantly" Iuric decides to lie for this next part, Dorin doesn't need to know the truth "and painlessly."

Sarric finishes his ale from the tankard, and hands the empty tankard to Dorin, "Here a memento I brought back from that plane which now no longer exists and is the final resting place of Hurguil, I hope it serves as a memorial for you."

He cannot bring himself to look up at Iuric, so thick are the tears.

"Thank you for that. Payment for the job then..."

    He holds forward 1,000GP

'Thank you. For the information and for safe passage. One final question.... is there a way to send a message to Dhurn Dharal from here? Or at the very least leave a message for our companions who may pass through this area at some point.

And finally... what should I call you... and your kind?'

'Thank you. Should our companions come through here - please inform them of our whereabouts should we have moved on. There will be at least four... Ser Boros, Sarric, Iuric and Jeremy. They will mean no ill will to you or your city either... merely searching for the sword known as Durandal.

Should we return from my own quest perhaps you can give us some more information on that.'

Vrakrash nods and breaks contact with the being. He gestures towards the city to Karinth, and begins to make his way there.

Redzer approaches Iruic, Sarric, Ser Boros and Jeremy, with Columbo on his shoulder.

"My race is of the GigaDark, I can take you there immediately, if you wish, though it will be the last intervention I will make for a while. I have an oath." Redzer says, again in a monotonous tone and the absence of any facial features make his mood impossible to determine.

Jeremy cannot figure out the wands, their ancient high elven construction being obscure, even for a wizard.

Iuric turns to Redzer "If it must be now, then now."
Redzer's head suddenly stretches to five times its normal length and starts steaming. He digs his pincer like legs into the soil and then his stomach stretches wide.

With bright flash a gateway opens up on his stomach.

    "Enter"

Karinth and Vrakrash see a gateway open in front of them. The light almost painfully bright in this dark place.

"Nude dwarven racists?" Karinth says drawing his screaming blade.

"Surely we would have less to fear, for without their armour they are helpless, unless they draw strength from their nudity. There really are all types under the Sun."

Sarric flies out, rolling into the hard rocky ground.

    Iuric steps out behind him.

"Nothing to fear Vrakrash, it is merely our friends."

    He approaches Sarric and whispers.

"The dragon frequently imagines nude dwarves, is it something in his past?"
