Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Absolutely terrible stuff from Williams there. Cardiff 9 trying to get the ball off him at the maul and he won't give it and ends up being turned over.

71 mins and 2 points in it. Come on Cardiff

It's not the most exciting game but Virgin's commentary team are boring as feic.

Saracens not exactly setting the world on fire here. Sign of a good team to win ugly I guess

Saracens fail to get the TBP. That's as much as you could ask of Cardiff.

Saracens got a last minute try. ****ers even got the TBP.

One-eyed Whitehouse junior doing his utmost to make his father look like the better referee - and succeeding.

You're right sorry. Misread the box score.

The late try was dubious but my God did Cardiff have more than enough chances to win that.

The scuffle at the start of the game between the two packs where he was stuck in the middle of not one player caring or noticing that he was there summed him up for me

Yeah, not a single point in the second half tells its own story.

Here's runner-up points over last few seasons for anyone doing number crunching on the permutations:

There is just an expectation/anticipation that Toulouse will produce something (or something out of nothing ) .

    Really enjoying watching their matches.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,828 ✭✭✭✭Eod100

Toulouse in already. Surely will get at least a runner-up spot if they win this with a tbp and get another win.

Can see this being a cricket score

    Wasps cant defend

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 27,325 Mod ✭✭✭✭Podge_irl

Well this is a guaranteed bonus point for Toulouse. The only hope is that Wasps manage to somehow sneak the win!

Either way it won't really matter once we do the business in Dublin against Toulouse I guess.

That was Ntemack who let Daly through in midfield there.

We should target him in January

    This game is absolutely mad

37 gone 22-20 wasps still in this

Could go either way here. Besides their 8 point win v Wasps, its been 1 point and 2 point wins vs Leinster and Bath. Think they will be looking to push on in 2nd half but could be tight

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 224 ✭✭Stout Warrior

Ntemack and guitone leaving holes in midfield again.

Think this is how things stand before matches tomorrow:

    1) Saracens, 18 points, 67 PD
    2) Toulouse, 17 points, 26 PD
    3) Racing, 14 points, 43 PD (Game in hand)
    4) Munster, 12 points, 38 PD
    5) Edinburgh, 11 points, 38 PD (Game in hand)
    6) Leinster, 15 points, 82 PD
    7) Glasgow, 14 points, 38 PD
    8) Ulster, 14 points, - 2 PD

    Possibly:
    1) Saracens, 18 points, 67 PD
    2) Racing, 18 points, 58 PD
    3) Toulouse, 17 points, 26 PD
    4) Edinburgh, 15 points, 48 PD
    5) Munster, 12 points, 38 PD
    6) Leinster, 15 points, 82 PD
    7) Glasgow, 14 points, 38 PD
    8) Ulster, 14 points, - 2 PD

It would quite a step forward for Scottish rugby if they manage to get two sides into the Quarter Finals.

    Round 5 is huge

    Ulster v Racing
    Glaws v Munster
    Leinster v Toulouse

Edinburgh and Tigers wins tomorrow really would shake the competition up

The Scottish teams I am sure will manage to f**k it up somehow :P

If they do get 2 in, Ireland gets 3 in

Watch complete meltdown in the French and Englsh leagues again....

They only have two teams in it and Scarlets are mathematically gone. There's no way Cardiff manage to come out ahead of Warriors.

I think Glasgow will at least as a runner-up. Don't think there will be a runner-up in Edinburgh group so depends how results go there.

I wouldn't have predicted it before the tournament started but Newcastle v Edinburgh tomorrow is a huge match.

Yeah it's hard to see a runner-up in that group so massive game. Don't think many would have Montpellier and Toulon not qualifying. Lyon failed to show up too.

1st try for Racing, 9 mins in.

Racing with 3rd try at 20 mins. They will have tbp by half-time at this rate so should go 1st.

Healy wont stop going on about it being a penalty and should then be a penalty try.

Should have been a penalty against Neil Back too all those years ago. Move on :D

God that was insanely sloppy from Leicester. Their accuracy is terrible.

Leicester are dreadful. No defence, no set piece, turning over ball every time.

Dan Cole is a penalty machine.

Whinging about Coles' yellow for leading with the elbow now too saying Coles didnt look. He knew exactly what he was doing.
Warburton agreed with it saying he's had a fractured eye socket from an incident like that, silence from Healy since.

Terrible. Yet they are still staying in the game - bodes well for Ulster I think.

I thought Leicester actually put themselves in position to compete but just blew it at key moments. If they'd won their lineout and driven over just on half time, or if Ford had actually managed to pass to someone instead of just firing the ball anywhere, the might have have gone in at the break only 6 points down. It's game on from there. They look very poorly coached, it'll probably take some time to undo whatever MOC did to them but I doubt Murphy is the man for the job.
