Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do Ulster want a tbp today? Could be decider in going to Paris or Dublin!

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,822 ✭✭✭Jump_In_Jack

Leinster and Racing will likely pick up 5 points.

    Top 4 should be:

    1) Saracens, 28 points
    2) Racing, 26 points
    3) Leinster, 25 points
    4) Edinburgh, 23 points

    5) Munster or Exeter

Best guess, Ulster and Toulouse win with a bonus:

    6) Ulster, 23 points
    7) Toulouse, 22 points
    8) Glasgow, 19 points

Best guess, Ulster and Toulouse win with a bonus and assuming Munster don’t end on 19 points:

    6) Ulster, 23 points
    7) Toulouse, 22 points
    8) Glasgow, 19 points

19 would keep Munster 5th. Exeter can only get 18 max.

Mon the Scarlets. Watching the Ulster match though

Is Donnacha Ryan injured? Or dropped down pecking order?

Scarlets looking fired up for this. Might do us a favour here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Scarlets could do us a major favour but worryingly Racing already have two tries in the bag.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,220 ✭✭✭cameramonkey

Ulster look like they are a bit hesitant.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,201 ✭✭✭troyzer

Scarlets don't give a rats. Just throwing the ball all over the place with nothing to lose.

But they might just do it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,149 ✭✭✭mangobob

    Great finish.

    Zebo almost immediately responds. Feck.

    That's it anyway.

Racing with the bonus now so the only chance of a home semi for Leinster is for Scarlets to win outright.

    Which might happen

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,149 ✭✭✭mangobob

    FFS!

I still fancy Scarlets to do it. They've been far more dangerous and Racing will probably get carded with their next bull**** at the breakdown so they have to be careful. Defense is playing very narrow as well.

There's another try in this for Scarlets and they've had 70% possession this half

    Racing have the TBP.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,822 ✭✭✭Jump_In_Jack

    Ulster take the lead!!

That Racing team are very, very beatable.

A BP win for Toulouse tomorrow means they will come to Dublin and Ulster will go to Racing in the QFs. Assuming Leinster beat Wasps.

A full strength Ulster team could beat them.

Toulouse might actually prefer not to get the bp and play Racing in Paris rather than Leinster in Dublin. Discuss.

Toulouse will be hoping Wasps beat Leinster so they can top the pool

Only if Saracens and Racing both win their QF. Leinster still look like the best team in Europe I think.

If Leinster and Toulouse win tomorrow with 4 points, what will the quarters looks like?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,246 ✭✭✭✭Hurrache

Castre looks like they nabbed the win well into the death, with their flanker attempting the conversion.

Any win will see Leinster take 3rd seed, a BP win for Toulouse will see the following

    Racing v Ulster

    Leinster v Toulouse

A non BP win will see

    Racing v Toulouse

    Leinster v Ulster

The other two quarter-finals aren't effected.

Bit sh1t that teams in the same group could meet in the QF.

Has the semi draw been made?

Has the semi draw been made?

There's no draw. Just about the seeds.

There is no draw any more. Ir's a set formula for who plays who.

Wait though isn't there a rule that if you have an away if you get a home country SF if the other team had a home qf? Did I dream that?

My chances of getting through 2019 without being carded by awec are shot if Leinster and Ulster meet at any point in the knock outs!

When are tickets likely to go on sale for the QFs?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,816 ✭✭✭Tigerandahalf

So is the semi going to be Racing v Leinster if all goes to plan? Saracens v Munster possibly in Twickenham? Where would Racing play?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,822 ✭✭✭Jump_In_Jack

Leinster and Toulouse will likely pick up 5 points tomorrow.

Top 8 are definite now, order should be:

    1) Saracens, 28 points
    2) Racing, 26 points
    3) Leinster, 25 points
    4) Edinburgh, 23 points
    5) Munster, 21 points
    6) Toulouse, 22 points
    7) Ulster, 22 points
    8) Glasgow, 19 points

    4 remarkable pairings.
Three re-matches, would expect Home teams to win,
and Edinburgh v Munster will be 50/50, Munster have a great chance to reach another semi-final.

Would a BP win for Toulouse not take them above Ulster?

Therefore meaning they would travel to Racing and Ulster would go to Dublin.

Just realised the weekend that the Quarter Finals are in! If Ulster have to go to Paris they may have to go via Dublin!

If Toulouse get a bonus point win they will go above Ulster to 6th,
We all expect Leinster to win and get to 3rd.
    3rd will play 6th.

Waited for my dad to come home from work to watch the Munster match with him so I'm a bit behind time.

They've done absolutely nothing to dispell my belief that they're an awful attacking team. They are absolutely incapable of moving the ball other than one out runners when playing decent opposition.

Can't see them getting past the semis and they'll be doing well to beat Edinburgh as well.
