    Well deserved win for Toulouse.

That will do, come on Leinster.

They're going to take some beating if they continue playing like that.

Because sometimes territory is more important than possession. Racing can't kick a penalty from their own half.

Great match! Really enjoyed that and Toulouse did so well with 14 men for an hour. Leinster are well capable of strangling them though at home .
Great boost to get a home semi. Leinster need to get their act together though.

    So well deserved.

Incredible performance from Toulouse who thoroughly worked hard for it.

    Incredibly enjoyable game.

Roll on the Aviva on Easter weekend!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,581 ✭✭✭bennyl10

Toulouse will have no fear of the Aviva

Can’t even compare the RDS game, Toulouse wanted Racing in the QF.

The Aviva game is going to be an absolute cracker!

A suicidal day of decision making by Racing all day, but fair player to Toulouse, a 100% win from the neck up

Can we beat them 3 times in that form with our injuries? Great day beckons.....

Absolutely. And Racing weren't set up to return a kick. A bit of a gamble yes but very very smart.

Far too long to survive with the ball in their own half. High risk of conceding a penalty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

If it were yesterdays Leinster v Toulouse today it would probably be victory for the French team.

Pretty sure Leinster will be much improved but Toulouse will also have 15 players :D

Not sure about strangling them. Toulouse were very impressive today.

Unreal match. Toulouse were brilliant. Home semi for Leinster who will have to completely up there game now.

So any dates and times for the semi's? I think they are Easter weekend? I could be wrong.

Neither would be ideal because if fully Racing clicked with that game we'd be on the back foot in Paris anyway.

I'll take a home semi with a French team to travel any day of the week and work hard on the rest....

Poor game by Racing tbh. good example of how not to play with an extra man for 60 minutes. delighted for toulouse though. really hope they make it to the final as they're the most exciting team in Europe at the moment.

    Yeah

    Sarries v Munster Saturday 3:15
    Leinster v Toulouse Sunday 3:15

    20th and 21st April

Easter Sunday. At least there's a bank holiday to recover

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,393 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Zebo and Russell went missing today. Racing were a man up for 60 minutes. That's when your playmakers are expected to take control.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Racing finished with a 66% tackle success rate. I don't think I've seen a team finish with such a low percentage. Russell missed 8 alone.

Mad that both semis would be different under last seasons rules.

    Munster lose out twice

We were discussing flights for the final during the week.
Just for the craic I checked prices at the moment.
Flying out Friday back on Sunday. Dublin Newcastle.
Ryanair is now 430 euro return.
Aer Lingus just short of 700 or 800 euro return.
    Wow.

Feeling rather smug at the flights I booked to Manchester for that weekend now. I think a daytrip to Newcastle may be on the cards

Bitching on Twitter, mostly from Wales, because Leinster play Toulouse in Dublin. Like Leinster must have had a say in how today's game went to make this happen

flights are pretty cheap to Edinburgh or glasgow that weekend, then it's 2 hours on the train

I picked up my flights on Tuesday this week and they were 240 return from Dublin to Newcastle on Ryanair. Thank god I got them before they both qualified.

    For anyone who missed it,

Thing to s they are doing things like this almost every week for the last couple or months.
I think they will give Leinster a real scare.

    Moronic challenge there.

Proper melee afterwards. The fact that they fell into the crowd/hoardings probably saved a card or two more given the angles were limited to review.

A Scotland esque comeback on the cards from Northampton here....

Both can do that in big games, Russell is far too inclined to play his own game.

I don't know if anyone is seriously suggesting it's within Leinster's control. However, semi finals have always been played in neutral venues. Leinster certainly have an advantage by getting to play in one of their home grounds.
