No they didn't. The Electoral College did.

Jesus man get over it. The Democrats can automatically have California next time, that state is on the brink of collapse due to their policies anyway.

So why the big need for talks with NK but then pulls out of the Iran deal?

Its all about stroking his own ego and delivering on his election promises, even where they make no sense, coupled with creating maximum deflection of news cycles away from the Mueller investigation that will by now be poring over his tax returns and decades of shady dealings....

The Electoral College system is the election system that is in place. The College votes are informed by the votes of the ppl in each State. So other stuff is irrelevant. Trump's campaign played the system extremely well and focused on smaller States where they could win the EC vote and didn't bother with the other states where he knew he had no hope (e.g California)

I don't think any sensible person disputes that Trump was validly elected. He was. How he is performing as a President is a different issue, and how he dealt with Kim and NK is certainly a matter worthy of serious questioning.

Hillary Clinton still won the popular vote.

Hillary Clinton still won the popular vote.

So did Andrew Jackson when John Quincy Adams became president. Don't know what your point is though

Californias debt to gdp ratio is 15.42%, Texas' is 17.61%

The US better hope that California doesn't collapse as it and other states like New York/New Jersey/Illinois massively subsidize the poorer southern and Great Plain states

My point is that the general American public wanted Hillary Clinton as President.

My point is that the general American public wanted Hillary Clinton as President.

The American public in the areas below wanted her as president.

It's why the electoral system exists. Her entire three million lead came from Los Angeles alone.

Areas Clinton won correspond very well to population density

There are interesting discussions to be had about the US electoral system, but they are pretty irrelevant to this thread ...

Exactly. I thought this thread was about the Trump/Kim meeting.

I'd love to hear about what was achieved by both parties and the potential consequences of this meeting. That sort of thing. And maybe a few Trump/Kim jokes with regard to obesity and hair.
