The half-baked romance options in Odyssey seem to presume 95% of players will be playing a straight Alexios, because the only romance interests I've encountered at all are all women, no men. As they can be seduced by either character, it means Kassandra can pretty much only be played a lesbian.

Which isn't a problem, just something I noticed. Between that and the rainbow unicorn she can ride around on it's pretty much Xena Warrior Princess fanfiction: The Videogame.

I weakened a nation down so that the leader was exposed although I hadn't actually discovered who he was yet, I got the prompt that I could join the battle to get rid of him. Went to join it and it wasn't in the list of quests, checked the map and the region is now spartan controlled. So if I weaken a nation and I'm not near the leader to kill him, will the spartas just do it without me?

There definitely men you can romance. First one I encountered was after doing the main story in Phokis, a side quest with a Physician shows up.

The nation takeovers are a bit confusing alright, as if you want to play the game, you need to weaken the current controlling faction, but nice to know you can still pick a side once it happens. So now I can go all murdery without worrying! I'm a Spartan damn it!

Leaders replenish so if you killed one and didnt do the battle after a while a new leader will appear.

Hoping thats a bug, the battle on Phokis and Malis are ready for me and I killed leaders but 2 new ones appeared, I went to see them and they are different with full squad of troops. No options to weaken them and the battle is still there for me to start.

Oh that was the point of doing all the other stuff so that they'd be on their own. Killing them with protection around them is an instant level 3 bounty on the ones I was brave enough to attack as I stumbled on them. Was fighting 3 level 17=20 merc's in a few minutes. Has to be a bug.

Best romance I've seen so far was in Lokris during a side quest be sure to romance the blacksmith there as part of the side quest :pac:

Read it on Reddit that the next patch includes putting a storage box on your ship where you can store armour, including the ones you can't sell/dismantle. Excellent move, still hate seeing my low-level rares and epics in my inventory all the time.

That Level 5 mercenary hunting you early on is a pain & he seems to be wandering around the island. I bumped into him halfway through a side mission (that was timed) that I was doing.
Setting a path and just letting your horse do the work is such a great comfort but also how I met the merc. :pac:

Even their patches are influenced by Witcher 3

Just wondering do time missions you fail have a baring on anything. Doing 1 to save a philosopher and getting my ass handed to me or else he dies. I am at level it says to be. Will be exited when I get home to try it again

Not sure, but I do know I failed a mission because I released a prisoner in a fort who asked me to protect and escort him to his brother (no cutscene or anything, he just started running and said it), but he ran into a bunch of guards and they killed him. After I went to the brother who gave out to me and walked off.

So I think small missions like that and maybe the one you're talking about can just be failed if they have no bearing on the story.

Ya I had 1 when a woman asked me to protect her lover. I did but accidently pressed the assassinate button after and failed

I had to protect some lad off lion hunting, i killed 2 lions seen some iron metal in the distance and went to get it. I heard a roar.......

Quest failed....fcuk it needed the iron metal more.

Yeah i noticed there is more upgrades than resources... kind off pushing you to go to the store or spend a week out at sea killing everyone.

Voice acting for Alexios is atrocious. Should be such a simple thing to get right in a game and really makes the difference. I'm too far in to be arsed starting again as Kassandra

Yeah, didn't know what Alexios sounded like until just before the Andros Island mission, and subsequent to that mission. He sounds like an english speaking voice actor trying to copy the Japanese version of his character. Horrendous. Delighted I picked Kassandra, because if his normal voice is anything like the conversations I had with him, i'd probably have to start again. Shocking stuff really. But doesn't have a major impact on my game yet, so i'll keep going.

Between the missions, naval missions, mercs, cultists and whatever else is to come, there's certainly more than enough to do in this game. I intend on finishing the story at least before RDR2 and trading it in then, but I'd imagine if I even get the story finished, there will be so much more left to do.

Also, have the Helmet of Ares and Breastplate of Ares, but they're not showing as a set, which is annoying.

I met him at level 10, I went back 3 times and he kicked my arse.

I went with the story and just got overpowered attack, my first thought is im going to kill that ****ing boar.
