I'd love if he did. Relentless player when the pressure is on. Great to watch.

Looks like their are a few birdies around so far.

Going to say 1 over will be the winning score

Not a particularly nice guy, but clearly not in the same league as Darth Mickelson

You slated Mickelson for breaking a rule and this guy literally stole from his team mates and was caught playing the wrong ball purposely and you reckon Phil is the arsehole....

    Alrighty then......

Phil is 48 and should have known better.

Might need to be under par to win this yet with the amount of birdies they are getting

    Phil is an arsehole.
    So is Reed.

I'm allowed to enjoy what an animal the guy becomes when in the heat of battle though.
    It's a pleasure to watch.

Don't think I could cope with Reed winning this as well. Can't stand the guy.

Fair enough. I mean most of the field are arseholes but that's another story.

I can appreciate their ability even if their character is in question

If Fleetwood can get in at +1 he could win this after a few hours waiting janey mackers

Think I preferred watching them struggle to make par rather than the birdie fest I watch every week.

The morality police all over Phil Mickelson here. Think its pretty amusing myself, nobodys been harmed and hes nowhere near the leaders, no point pretending to be offended.

    What are you on about.

It was a dq all the way and the committee chickened out because it was Phil.

It was a very serious breach - and that is a dq.

Here is the daft thing they said.

“To go to [the disqualification rule], well, Phil didn’t purposefully deflect or stop the ball, which is talked about in the reference under 14-5 if you look at it. 14-5 explicitly covers a player making a stroke at a moving ball, so we operated under that rule.”

If it was Poulter his ass be out of there.

Morality is nothing to do with it - Phil was a cheating bastard - and even if the committee was right - he should have walked.

He would have got harsher treatment in a Pub society.

You will have some idiot doing this some weekend now watch.

    Amazing tip by Butch there
When playing a course for the first time look at the hole from the green back to the tee for a different perspective

Ok butch thanks for that. I'll just run down to the green and look back up before icons back and play my shot

Ah Tommy. Missed 3 great chances on last 3 holes. Think he will come up just short.

    love Reed

real character , when most of them fairly boring.

Has the balls to win stuff too.

(accepted he has a dark past and has made errors)

Can't believe Koepka didn't run after that shot and hit it before it went into the bunker.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

    Great save really.

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,888 ✭✭✭✭FixdePitchmark

DJ definitely has mental weakness in tight battles

If ever there's a great bogey, that's it.

Nothing against Koepka, but firmly in Fleetwoods camp here
