Getting a bit wild now in Castlebar, a nice deviation from the last few weeks weather, pressure down to 993.8 and the humidity has dropped nearly 15% in the last hour.

Looking at the midnight reports theres a 15 mb pressure difference from Belmullet to Johnstown castle. Not often you see that in June!

I feel like cork should have been in the yellow alert at least, but then again it may just be the leafs that are making it sound worse? Lashing rain and strong winds making my letter box jump and bins banging outside. Seems to be getting worse.

Very interesting seeing the trees blowing like that in full leaf in summer I must say!

And that's the biggest danger tonight. Deciduous trees that might have been weakened in earlier storms may not be able to withstand the sail effect tonight! I just looked out about 30 minutes ago and some trees here in the Midlands were really moving about!! I can't imagine what they'll be like further North and West...

Its been wild enough out here the last few hours winds seem to die down for ten mins and then pick up again. Power still on thankfully. South sligo.

Just woke up. Plenty breezy here but doesn't seem to be anything exceptional. No trees to reference! No rain at the moment. Power still on, thankfully. NW Donegal.

I'd say go back to bed and tie yer quilt down. The models I'm looking at have ye being hammered 2-3 hours from now....

Just been awoken by the sound of the wind in Galway City. Big trees here are dancing around like crazy. Feels like this will be enough to knock quite a few.
    Awesome!

Lots of banging, rattling and knocking in West Clare. No real worsening or improvement in the last 2-3 hours, it's amazingly consistent.
