Yes, if you had 159 goals that would make you in the 156-160 range so would be159 x 10 = 1590.

Tourney is over, so we know goals scored was 169, so range is 167-171.


If i gather it right, those who guessed 171, you get 1710 added, and those who guessed 167, you get 1670 added.

I read it as the range is 166-170, as the total number of goals falls within that range.

And that people who guess within that range get the actual number of goals scored x 10 (i.e. 168x10 = 1680).

I dont mind either way anyways; whatever way strawbs had planned on doing it.

I’d always done it as the number YOU chose x 10.

Are there 2 in contention for the prize? Having a mare of a morning so haven’t looked at all the posts.

Well with the range multiplier x 10, Osh and i are in contention. If guessing within the range carried 200 points like the other metrics do, then i think Osh and Kitten are in contention.

Like all my guesses apart from goals scored have been dog ****e, so i dont know if i should be up the top end of the board at all

lol, if you read it as that, why would you ever pick 167 over 170


I read it as pick 167, if goals scored = 165, 166, 167, 168 or 169, you succeed,
but you read it as if goals scored is any number within the rigid range 166-170, then you have success, then why would you ever pick anything other than number at the top of that range? :eek:

You are right, but I guessed what I thought was going to be the goals scored. Didn't really think about maximising the return.

1st place is Osh with 2,340 points.
2nd is Pter with 2,090.
3rd is kitten_k with 850 points.

The rest... well...

in 4th is Strawbs with 725 points.
Joint 5th are myself and Mick with 600 points each.
Just behind that is Kolido with 575
Murray is next with 450 points
And joint last bringing home half a wooden spoon each are QB and sKeith with 400 points.
