Recommendations for Open Farms or adventure parks around Dublin?

    Where's the best open farm or activity/adventure park to bring a 1 year old and 3 year old to in the Dublin area? A place in Cork - This place, I think - was on RTÉ a couple of years ago and it brought fun farms to a new level.

    Is there any place around Dublin similar?

    Red Mountain Open Farm in Meath has a special offer on mydealpage.ie but I don't know anything about it. Glenroe farm was OK, but not really much there. Airfield in Dundrum was similar but again nothing like that one in Cork in terms of scale.

    Rathbeggan Lakes between Dunboyne and Dunshaughlin had animals to pet and all but was more of a very good adventure and fun park with a train, boat trips etc.

    Any places to recommend for very young children? Thanks/Grma.

    We've been a couple of times at Clonfert pet farm. Not too big so small kids don't get tired.

    Childvision on Grace Park Road, Drumcondra have a great little farm with loads of different animals/birds to see. Cafe/restaurant open 7 days, pizza oven open at weekends.

    Newbridge farm near donabate is nice, brilliant playground .

    Newgrange farm up beside the tomb is very good. Family ticket 5 people is 25€.
    Nice picnic area and farm. Also has a huge sandpit and water activity along with the usual feeding of animals and birds
