PS Vita ... suitable for modding

My PSP gave up the ghost, so I'm looking for a replacement handheld, and I think the Vita would be a good toy.


I'd prefer one that isn't modded, but is suitable for modding ... so that I can look at getting some PSP games running alongside newer PS Vita games.


I think that means an older device (or new old stock) running firmware 3.60 or thereabouts (not 3.68 like those I've seen in the shops, even second hand).

You’re kinda in luck, we’ll, after the summer you will be. “TheFlow”, is releasing a new exploit in September for the Vita which is compatible with the current firmware - http://wololo.net/2018/06/09/theflow-states-that-his-fw-3-65-3-68-hack-will-be-released-next-september-since-he-found-a-second-exploit-chain/

So you’re more or less free to hunt down a first gen OLED model now, regardless of firmware, and just wait for the new exploit.

I have a first gen OLED that I never use, in mint condition and boxed, with enso and adrenaline. What's the going rate for one of those these days? I'd be interested in selling it as I want to start funding for an AES/CMVS and a NeoSD.
