Northampton have the glamour draw of League One Wycombe Wanderers. So that'll be the end of the Cobblers interest in that competition.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Newcastle, who have been hopeless I might add may be going to pens at Forest.
Forget it they conceded a minute later

That was a shocking decision. It was as clear a penalty as you would see. The keeper got nothing of the ball and cleaned out the Newcastle player (Perez?).

    Did they show it again?

I'd like to watch it again was hard to tell for me in real time

    Some nice ties there.

Hoolahan's been linked with Oxford if I recall correctly. Could be a tasty encounter for him if the move happens.

Why is Everton v Southampton being played a week later?

Possibly because Everton and Chelsea both played Sunday, so Tuesday was out, and Everton and Liverpool can’t both play at home on the same night, so Wednesday was out and as neither Everton or Southampton are in Europe, it was easy to put that on next week.

Derby totally deserved that. Been only 1 team in it 2nd half. How is Ashley Young getting in to a Manchester United team? He is garbage.

A cracker of a free kick from the Liverpool player Wilson on loan at Derby to make it 1 - 1 at Old Trafford.

Man U keeper sent off for handball outside the box.

Big summer signing Lee Grant gets his debut for Man U.

Must be some pressure on him living up to that price tag, but he did well there.

Derby go 2-1 up at Old Trafford after a VAR review! This is why cup football is so great, anything can happen. :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

This is some clown show. Didn't think being second best to Brighton could be topped but now United getting bossed at home by a fecking Championship side.

So sad the contrast from watching the glorious legends of my youth playing earlier today, to watching this collection of chancers, no-hopers and mercenaries.

    Jose out.

Get play by Wilson not to react and try and play the ball.

They have been by far the better and hungrier team, well deserved.

Watching it for Mason Mount and himself Tomori and Wilson have been very good for Derby.

Utd on the other hand look a bit of a horror show should have been out of sight before HT though.

That Utd team reminds me of Liverpool under Hodgson. No direction.

The Moyes man to the rescue for Man U.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Wow, Fellaini equalises. Can never count United out when he’s getting into the box. Poor from Derby, but it honestly doesn’t surprise me all that much.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,924 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Was that Jose's Mark Robbin's goal from Fellaini.

Derby got so sloppy for the goal. Gave it away at the back twice.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

They have been by far the better and hungrier team, well deserved.

And still it wasn’t enough. Better options from the bench making a big difference for United, I’d say you’ll take them on penalties now, as much as I obviously hope you don’t.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

    Need McNulty for this shootout.

Some great pens being taken by both teams.

Suppose it's fitting that a player who should have been sold from the club years ago lets United down.

Well done to Derby. They deserved to advance.
