Anyone have the story of the race?

group of about 5 went away on 3rd lap , Lydia boylan was driving chasing group but got caught up in a crash at the bottom of the descent. Gap the yoyoed for , think I heard eve got dropped up the last climb but got back on took the 4 up sprint at the finish and boy was she delighted.

Really hard day temperature about 29 degrees, couple of heat exhaustion cases.

Great win from eve delighted for her.

A real shame the nationals aren't on TV, the women's race sounded quality. RTE should be showing our national sporting events.

Costs I would imagine are an issue. Not enough of a market to show it live. Assume that Eir will have some sort of highlights at some stage.

Why is Philip Deignan not riding the nationals...He is not ill, injured and he comes from just over the hills....And its not like he is riding the Tour and has anything better to do

He was in Letterkenny last weekend so why not comes this weekend and drive to Sligo ?? What the ?

Fair play to Dunne. Hopefully he'll have a big season with the Irish champs jersey

Any channel showing highlights of the race? If memory serves, Eurosport showed highlights last year.
