Turks was my first thought but that cant be right.

Id follow Guffy on this one

Put it this way. The Mongols ruined China (Asia) Georgia/Russia (europe) and Bulgaria or Hungary(europe) they even went into the middle East. Had their last unifying (name escapes me) Kahn died 5 years later its believed they would have swept through France. Tartar is the term that was used to describe them but I'm not 100% on the spelling. It can't be turks because that's used in the clue.

Actually maybe it was Ogedai who dies.

    TARTAR

Definition I was using Guffy. I've no doubt yours is more accurate.

Would rather play one first. Would be up for running some future games.

    Well played yellows

  • Registered Users Posts: 35,024 ✭✭✭✭Baggly

I don't mind running another if people are happy with that. We might try different rules to test those out.

    Any feedback on that game?

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,366 ✭✭✭✭Kolido

I thought the questions were quite difficult, though that could just be me. I would love if we could get a buzzer system working.

But all in all, a superb first outing, great going Pter.

I like your buzzer idea. We might try that?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,617 ✭✭✭Mollyb60

****er. I knew that Tartar question too. Typical.
Really enjoyed that game. I thought the questions were kinda tough but they were equally tough iykwim. I liked the dictionary questions but can agree that one or 2 general knowledge is nice too. Think the 3 person team worked well. Not too much faffing around considering options for answers.

No idea how you'd get the buzzer working for it though. I'll stay out of the next game to let others have a try of it but I'll be following along and playing in my head.

Yeah we could try, see how it works.

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,753 ✭✭✭✭beakerjoe

It was a fun game, I found most of the questions tough.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,093 ✭✭✭Guffy

Ill play again if there aren't 6 new people

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,941 ✭✭✭osh

Same. But if others want the spot I’ll sit out.

Edit: Or get two games on the go!

    Well done yellows.

  • Registered Users Posts: 35,024 ✭✭✭✭Baggly

    Interested in another game Jules?

  • Registered Users Posts: 544 ✭✭✭jules86

I might sit the next one out. Questions are too tough for me, I will have to do some spotting up first.
