Modem Charge on terminated account

    Hi,

    I switched to a different home broadband provider back in April and was asked by eir to send back the modem to avoid additional charges. 
    I promptly sent the modem back and have a tracking log to prove same. However, a new bill have been issued on my old account with a charge for the non-return of the modem. 
    Could this be checked?
