Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Family account is 17.99 per month for 6 accounts so 3 euro each if we get enough people interested? PM me and we can set it up.

Can you use an existing account as part of the family or does it have to be a new email address? If I can use an existing account I'll go for it, assuming there's still space available.

Yeah so I'd add your existing account to my family group. If I get 4 people we can do 3 euro each as it's just myself and a family member splitting the bill atm.

If you mean can you cast from the app, you can, although you'd still get ads as the android TV is doing the streaming.

For Android TV I would recommend installing Smart YouTube on the box.

No I mean put Vance on the TV.

    I think I found a way.

I can download Vanced APK on my phone.
Then save it to my Google drive cloud.
Open my Google drive cloud using es file explorer app on my TV.
And finally download vanced from there.
Hey presto! Ad free YouTube on Android TV :pac:

    That's the theory anyway.
I'll let you know if it works.

Smart YouTube TV is basically Vanced with a Ui designed for Android TVs, it's likely better than vanced as that would only have been optimised for phones I would think.

    I'll try it.
Vanced installed on the TV the way I discribed.
Navigation on it is a bit cumbersome though.
    Cheers

Can someone help guide me with the setup. I have signed up to family package with a throw away account. I'm struggling with getting the main account that I use to join as a family member.

I've had a sub I took out when "visiting Argentina" and it costs me about 1,20 a month since I "got back" worth every penny and works across all devices. Google don't seem to mind, it's connected to my normal home account and login

A quick bump. Anyone that has managed to sub through India and invited 'family'. How did you get the family portion to join? Any help would be very much appreciated

I didn't do it on an iPhone but I already had YouTube downloaded on my phone. Switch your VPN to India. It's when you go into the YouTube app and go to pay for the sub is when you see the different price. You don't need to download from an Indian app store or anything like that.

    Thanks for the reply
On iOS the payment is done through the App Store , I setup the vpn for India saw the price was correct and when I went to pay through the App Store getting the message that am not on the right App Store for the payment.

Ya that's what I did. I still had a week left on my trial. Cancelled it and signed up from India. Nice country by the way, well worth a visit this time of year.
