    Hard to find, i know.

Are they allowed sell army surplus because of the whole unpleasantness with the neighbors?

See that now, hm well ebay is an option for gas masks, replica though you probably won't find in an Irish surplus store anyway? What exactly are you looking for, specifically Irish stuff? What sort of replica, like deactivated or a good quality replica or even an airsoft rifle?

Most surplus stores will have gas masks in stock, typically a Soviet GP5. Just be careful, some Cold war era gas masks have asbestos in the filters.

If only this Surplus Store was nearby:

There's a 10 day wait on the handguns but you can take the rocket launcher and assault rifles now.

Its very difficult to find legit Irish army uniforms/equipment on sale as it remains the property of the Dept of Defence.

That's not to say it can't be found, so until you bought it from the Dept of Defence (and they rarely sell equipment) it'll always remain the departments legal property.

    Hi all,
The OP did not specifically ask to buy Irish Army surplus, just Army surplus in general, so he can take himself to Capel Street and find the long established Army surplus store there called Army Bargains. If you want Irish kit, you can go to Protac in the Curragh camp and buy the stuff they sell to Irish soldiers there. It's made on site. There is also an Army surplus store in Carlow, one in Moneygall, one in Midleton and there are plenty online who ship to Ireland.

    regards
