Porting issue - no more old number

    Hi

    Maybe you can help.

    I ported yesterday from tesco mobile.

    Problem is that it is over 24 hours now and old number is not ported.
    Old number doesn't work anymore and it is unreachable.

    Sim I got is with new number and it works.
    On myeir dashboard it shows correct (old) number.

    I tried call but no luck and chat wasn't helpful.

    Number was ported to wrong number/sim card !!
    I confirmed number couple of times to rep I was talking to !!

    For some reason I got two cards yesterday and I took one and gave all details to the lady I spoke with.

    And she chose to ignore all that and use different details out of the blue.

    Anyhow all is good now.

    Of course question is - the card i've used for two days, calls and mobile - on which account it will go ?

    I will answer myself.

    I have two accounts with eir now !!!

    One correct one with broadband and mobile and second with mobile !!

    And all my details including bank account address are the same on both !

    And now I have two bill pay contract but I need only one.

    What a mess.

    I have account xxxxxx60 with eir Fibre and I moved from tesco mobile keeping my phone number - 085xxxxxxx.

    When I called I gave all my details including name, address and account number.

    But instead new account was created xxxxxx37 with 
    and eir Mobile 400 10GB standalone and I had no idea about it.

    So at the end I received two sim cards on Monday.

    I called again and gave lady on the other end of the line my details including my name address and account number and NUMBER FROM SIM CARD.

    She told me that it might take up to 24h to port number, most of the times it takes 2 hour top.

    So after 24h I was still with new phone number, called again and I've been told that porting is done and I just need to wait longer.

    Then I check the other sim card - and behold - porting was done to the other sim card.

    Then I decided to see if I can log into myeir - which way I discover 2nd account number.

    Yet another call to support - they confirm, this account should be canceled. It isn't but should.

    So I just want 2nd account closed.

    And Thomas replied that he can't help.

    All I need is 2nd account closed and some kind of confirmation of that so I won't be hit with two bills at the end of the month !
