Ah it's not the Sopranos or Breaking Bad, but it's watchable nonsense. :o

At least it has been renewed.

Season finale last night. No major answers but a definite endpoint for the show has been set in stone (although we need 5 more years to get there... good luck with that!)
Was that really the season finale.

When I saw the end date I went the only way it makes to that date is time jumps as the show won’t be renewed for 5 more seasons.

    Kinda like Odyssey 5.
Just watched the 14 episodes I had to watch over the last few days.

    Spoilers below

Show is grand, but they've done at least one thing they should've learned from Lost. Their timeline was 16 episodes for 6 weeks. We all know what happened with Walt in Lost. One reason he had to be written out was they couldn't have him pass for the same age the whole time. The same will happen Cal.
So a time jump is kinda necessary. Though with everything they've had happen in the 6 weeks, it's be hard to explain why nothing of note has happened in the past 6 months.

I know it's part of the episodes, but the vagueness of the Callings is a bit annoying, especially when they gave Griffin full details. Though maybe he was like Cal since Cal can draw even the smallest detail and even give directions.

So Zeke is due to die within the year?
And I said before, but Michaela reminded me of Ellen Muth the whole time, which is strange because looking at them side by side, they don't look alike

Started watching this the other night. Finished the season now. I'm glad to see that it has be renewed for a second season. I have to agree that it won't be 5 seasons long. There is not enough story there.

Last few episodes were slow. I sort of seen the whole Michaela plot at the end. Obviously it's not her time :p

Anyone else watching this? I'm trying to figure out why I'm still watching.
5 episodes into the 13 episode season.

    Gave up after 2 episodes

I'm starting to loose interest in this now. Was on my phone for most of the last episode which is very rare.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 55,529 ✭✭✭✭Mr E

It has been relegated to background TV for me (while I'm playing the Switch or browsing my phone)

Don't think it will get a third season.

This weeks episode was a bit better. No phone use this week :P. I'll stick with it for another while.

Think I'm done with this now.

Following it on NBC and am up to date. Still not quite sure where this show is going or why I'm still watching to be honest.....

Yea.....I watched S1 on Sky but don’t think I’ll bother with S2. Some of the acting was questionable to say the least!!

Same here. Too many unanswered plots at this stage. Can't see it getting a 3ed season

Bit of a weak finale. Don't understand what happened to Zeke and don't understand the ending.

I wouldn't put money on this show coming back for a third season either.

Caught up on this at the weekend. It's like they just got lazy in parts.
"We have to figure out the calling... or we can just follow the bright light" It was the equivalent of the briefcase from Pulp Fiction.

    And then Zeke.
Turns out he was a Time Lord.

So the Meth guys are the Evil Leapers of the series?

That ending made me think of the film, Millennium

    1st episode brilliant!

So for those thinking this show hasn't jumped the shark yet,
    How about jumping the ark?
Yep, they're now tying what happened 828 back to Noah's Ark

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,762 ✭✭✭BandMember

It's like the show has its own death date. The end of Season 3.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,087 ✭✭✭EoinMcLovin

Yeah binged the last 5 episodes over the weekend and it really has jumped the shark, will still watch it but not straight away like other shows. Might just wait a few weeks and watch in bulk again. It's probably going to get cancelled anyway

And now all this lifeboat talk.
Why would an ancient papyrus or whatever have a whole prophecy about those 3 guys?

I think if Debris is cancelled, this will be safe enough
