Adding an infant to a Ryanair booking

Hi,

We want to book tickets to Paris Beauvais for Christmas. My wife is pregnant and due mid-november. We obviously do not know the exact DOB of the baby or the name at this stage so we are unclear if we should add the infant to the booking now.

Has anyone had any experience with booking for an unborn infant ?

We've done it. You could ask them on Twitter to confirm if it's still the process, but we were told to book them as "Infant your surname" and use the due date as the DOB if you're asked for it. Then give them a shout when the baby does arrive with the name and DOB.

Minimum age for a baby travelling is 8 days old.

Could you get a passport in 8 days ?

Thanks for the info. The baby should be 5 weeks old when travelling
